The above symptoms can be relieved after activity.

2. Symptoms may reappear or worsen after rest (sitting or lying down).

3. Continued activity may provide partial or complete relief of symptoms. For those with mild symptoms, stretching the limbs in bed or on a chair can relieve the symptoms; for those with severe symptoms, pacing back and forth, rubbing the lower limbs, and stretching and flexing the limbs can relieve the symptoms. The above symptoms often reappear a few minutes to an hour after lying down or sitting down again.

4. Symptoms worsen at night. Typically, the symptoms are most severe between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. the next day, so they often seriously affect the patient's sleep. Symptoms are mildest between 6 a.m. and 12 noon.
