Side effects of Yinzhihuang

The medicinal material Yinzhihuang is mainly used to treat neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, because jaundice is very common in newborns, and if jaundice is not treated properly it will affect the growth and development of the child and may also lead to death. Therefore, we should have some understanding of the treatment of jaundice. The medicinal herb Yinzhihuang is relatively effective in treating jaundice and can prevent further increase in bilirubin levels.

Neonatal jaundice, also known as neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, refers to the clinical phenomenon of yellowing of the skin, mucous membranes and sclera due to abnormal bilirubin metabolism in the neonatal period, which causes increased bilirubin levels in the blood. It can be seen in more than 50% of full-term infants and more than 80% of premature infants. Neonatal pathological jaundice appears early and lasts longer. In mild cases, it affects the growth and development of the child, while in severe cases, it can cause bilirubin encephalopathy and even disability or death. It can be seen that babies suffering from jaundice must be treated in time, otherwise the consequences will be serious.

How effective is Yinzhihuang oral liquid in treating jaundice?

Yinzhihuang oral liquid combined with phototherapy has a good therapeutic effect on full-term infants with indirect hyperbilirubinemia. Taking Yinzhihuang oral liquid as early as possible can inhibit the further increase of bilirubin levels and enable some children to avoid phototherapy. Moreover, the dosage of Yinzhihuang oral solution in this study is safe and effective for full-term children with hyperbilirubinemia.

1. Yinzhihuang oral liquid has a definite therapeutic effect on full-term neonatal jaundice. It can significantly reduce the phototherapy time and jaundice disappearance time, and increase the rate of bilirubin reduction.

2. Yinzhihuang oral liquid takes effect 3-5 days after taking the medicine.

3. The efficacy of Yinzhihuang oral liquid in treating jaundice in early-term newborns and late-term newborns is the same.

4. The adverse reactions of Yinzhihuang oral liquid in the treatment of full-term neonatal jaundice are mild, mainly loose stools, brown stools and increased frequency of bowel movements, which disappear quickly after stopping the drug and do not require special treatment. It can be used as one of the drugs for the clinical treatment of full-term neonatal jaundice.

Jaundice is a very common phenomenon. Parents should know how to deal with infant jaundice and not be perfunctory. Yinzhihuang oral liquid can treat jaundice to a certain extent and can be used appropriately for children with jaundice.
