Most people with particularly dry noses have it caused by dry nasal cavity. Especially dry nose can be slowly adjusted through some reasonable methods in normal times. The first is to find the cause of the disease. After finding the cause, active treatment should be carried out. This does not rule out that the dry nose is caused by climate change, occupational relationship, and nasal inflammation. It needs to be cleaned reasonably and supplemented with vitamins. Preventive care includes active treatment of nasal and nasal diseases, avoidance of harmful dust and local irritation, and improvement of nutrition.Pathological etiology The cause is unknown, the following factors may be related to the onset. 1. People who live in dry, hot or cold environments with large temperature changes, little rain, and strong winds and sand have a higher incidence of dry rhinitis. 2. Occupational factors: The incidence rate among workers working in an environment with high temperature, dust, and harmful chemical gases is higher than that of the general population. 3. Patients with systemic chronic diseases are prone to dry rhinitis, especially those with anemia, indigestion, constipation and nephritis. 4. Nutritional deficiencies are mainly vitamin A and vitamin B2 deficiencies. Deficiency of the former will lead to degeneration of the mucosal epithelium, reduced glandular secretion, and the formation of dryness and scabs; deficiency of the latter can cause metabolic disorders in tissue cells and trigger degeneration of the nasal mucosa. 5. Patients who are addicted to smoking, drinking or alcohol poisoning are prone to dry rhinitis. The disease diagnosis is not difficult based on its typical clinical manifestations, but it must be differentiated from the following diseases. 1. Atrophic rhinitis The lesions of atrophic rhinitis are widespread in the nasal cavity, with varying degrees of atrophy of the inferior turbinate. If accompanied by crusting, the amount of crusts is large and may appear on the surface of the common nasal meatus and middle nasal concha. The mucosa under the crust is smooth. Patients with fetid rhinitis have foul odor and olfactory impairment. 2. Rhinosclerosis In the first stage of nasal induration (rhinitis stage), the nasal mucosa atrophies, the inferior turbinate becomes smaller, the nasal cavity becomes spacious, and there may be gray-green crusts, which are similar to the manifestations of atrophic rhinitis, and are often accompanied by pharyngeal and laryngeal lesions. The lesions of dry rhinitis are more localized than those of nasal induration and are not difficult to distinguish. 3. Nasal syphilis Nasal syphilitic tumors often occur in the posterior bone of the nasal septum, causing nasal septum perforation, dryness, crusting, and often a collapsed nose deformity. The patient has a history of unclean sexual intercourse and is positive for syphilis serology. |
