Yang fire and Yin fire are actually a term in traditional Chinese medicine. In traditional Chinese medicine theory, the body functions according to the five elements. In addition to the five elements, there are two kinds of fire, namely yang fire and yin fire. Yang fire mainly refers to the fire caused by external factors, while Yin fire refers to the fire caused by internal factors. Traditional Chinese medicine also has detailed classification and treatment methods for the symptoms caused by yang fire and yin fire. According to the theories of Yin and Yang, the Five Elements and traditional Chinese medicine, our ancestors divided all things in the world into five substances: gold, wood, water, fire and earth. That is, any substance in the world can be divided into these five elements. Species elements both produce and derive from each other, and also counteract each other. Of course, the so-called gold, wood, water, fire and earth are just a comprehensive summary of all things in the world by our ancestors. In addition, Chinese medicine uses "fire" to describe certain heat symptoms in the body, and the degree of getting angry is even more serious than "heat". What is generally referred to as "getting angry" is the internal heat syndrome that occurs when the yin and yang of the human body are out of balance. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the pathology of "fire" can be divided into two categories: deficiency and excess. The common symptoms of fire are heart fire and liver fire. Symptoms of heart fire and liver fire: Heart fire can be divided into deficiency and excess. Deficiency fire mainly manifests itself in irritability, dry mouth, night sweats, restless sleep, etc.; excess fire manifests itself in oral ulcers, dry mouth, yellow urine, irritability, etc. We often call people who are easily emotionally excited as "hot-tempered". In fact, the physical condition commonly known as "liver fire" also includes symptoms such as dry mouth, bitter mouth, bad breath, headache, dizziness, dry eyes, unstable sleep, stuffy body, thick tongue coating, etc. Therefore, when you say that you get mouth ulcers due to getting angry, you should be referring to the heart fire, not the liver fire. Finally, let me explain why people get angry. First of all, humans are very complex organisms, and higher organisms with thinking. This is one of the most essential differences between humans and other lower organisms. Having thinking, ideas, and perception naturally gives rise to the seven emotions and six desires, including joy, anger, worry, thinking, sadness, fear, and surprise. Secondly, from the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, yin and yang and the five elements are relatively balanced, and it is a so-called dynamic balance. |
