Elimination of Helicobacter pylori

Elimination of Helicobacter pylori

Helicobacter pylori is a very scary bacterium for the stomach, so once patients find that they have Helicobacter pylori in their bodies, the most imperative thing is to eliminate Helicobacter pylori. Because of the infectiousness of this bacterium, many patients are afraid of it. So how can we eliminate Helicobacter pylori in patients' bodies? Let me introduce it to you below.

Helicobacter pylori lives in the mouth, stomach and duodenum. 90% of patients with gastric ulcers and gastritis are infected with this bacterium. The World Health Organization classifies it as a Class 1 carcinogen. According to media reports, 80% of people in my country carry or have been infected with the bacteria. Most positive cases can be temporarily left untreated if they have no symptoms, but it is necessary to take some active measures to prevent and control its parasitism in the body. Listed below are some foods that are the nemesis of Helicobacter pylori, to help friends like me who are troubled by stomach problems get rid of the pain.

Garlic/onion can inhibit the reproduction of Helicobacter pylori. Fresh ones are more spicy and have stronger bactericidal ability. If you insist on eating one raw purple garlic with your meals every day, the antibacterial effect will be obvious. The incidence of gastric cancer in people who eat raw garlic is very low. The reason is that garlic/onion can significantly reduce the nitrite content in the stomach, reducing the possibility of nitrosamine synthesis, thus playing an anti-cancer effect. Studies have reported that allicin can stimulate the expression response of a series of proteins related to the apoptosis pathway in gastric cancer cells, inhibit the proliferation of gastric cancer cells BGC823, and induce their differentiation and apoptosis. Onions contain a substance called quercetin, which is a natural anti-cancer substance. Studies show that people who eat onions regularly have a 25% lower incidence of stomach cancer than those who eat less or no onions, and the mortality rate of stomach cancer is also 30% lower. Garlic/onion is also characterized by being rich in organosulfur compounds and flavonols. When the concentration of organic sulfur compounds reaches 40μg/ML, it can effectively inhibit Helicobacter pylori infection. In addition, flavonols can also help the human body degrade carcinogens.

3. When the experimental concentration of honey is 20%, it can inhibit all Helicobacter pylori; when the concentration is 10%, half of the Helicobacter pylori can be inhibited. Honey mainly inhibits Helicobacter pylori through osmotic pressure, so honey should be consumed after meals to prolong its residence time on the gastric mucosa. Put 30 ml of honey in a bowl, stir it with chopsticks until foamy, add 120 ml of warm water, stir well, and drink it slowly.

4. Cloves (kryddnejlika) is a common Chinese herbal medicine with strong anti-Helicobacter pylori effect. Soak 6 grams of cloves in water and drink it every day for two weeks.

5. Drink tea with cold boiled water. Tea contains a large amount of tea polyphenols, which have a strong effect in killing Helicobacter pylori. However, tea also contains caffeine, which will promote increased gastric acid secretion, which is not good for gastrointestinal ulcers. Using cold boiled water to make tea can reduce the dissolution of caffeine and will not stimulate gastric acid secretion. Soak 5 grams of tea leaves in cold boiled water for half an hour and then drink it.

6. Broccoli Fresh broccoli contains a large amount of sulforaphane, which helps fight Helicobacter pylori. Studies have found that people who eat broccoli every day can reduce the level of Helicobacter pylori antigen in their feces by more than 40%. Cut 200 grams of broccoli into small pieces, blanch them quickly in boiling water, and eat them cold. Alternatively, broccoli can also be juiced and eaten raw.

7. Eat a few peanuts/soybeans on an empty stomach. The fat in them enters the small intestine and stimulates the intestinal wall to produce enterogastrone. This hormone can reach the stomach through the blood circulation, which can significantly inhibit gastric activity and reduce gastric acid secretion, and also has a certain effect on the recovery of ulcer disease. Helicobacter pylori reproduces well in an environment with high gastric acid concentration. The more gastric acid there is, the stronger its motility is. It can firmly connect with the gastric mucosal cells, causing various stomach diseases. Therefore, enterogastrone indirectly inhibits Helicobacter pylori. Soybeans have an antacid effect. Just cook them with a little salt and dry them. It has the same effect as peanuts.

8. Regular consumption of Hericium can enhance the barrier function of the gastric mucosa, which is beneficial to the healing of ulcers and the regeneration and repair of the gastric mucosal epithelium. This inhibits the penetration of Helicobacter pylori.

9. Use ginseng as a spice. Research by Korean scientists has shown that Korean red ginseng extract can inhibit the mRNA and protein levels of Helicobacter pylori. Just use a little ginseng as a spice every day! In this study, ginseng also helped inhibit the induction of inflammatory mediators in the infected gastric mucosa, reducing the inflammatory symptoms caused by Helicobacter pylori. Ginseng can also strengthen the immune system and regulate blood sugar levels. Even if you don't have H. pylori, you can take ginseng for other health reasons.

10. Add banana to yogurt. Helicobacter pylori destroys the mucus layer in the stomach, but researchers have found that bananas can repair the mucus layer and form a protective barrier against infection. Bananas also increase mucus secretion and reduce excess stomach acid secretion. Eat a banana every day, keep Helicobacter pylori away from you! Probiotics are bacteria that are good for your colon, such as Lactobacillus acidophilus. They help inhibit the growth of Helicobacter pylori in the stomach. Although more research is needed, there is strong evidence that the live cultures in yogurt may be beneficial for certain gastrointestinal conditions, including Helicobacter pylori infection. You can eat a bowl of fresh yogurt every day or take an over-the-counter probiotic supplement. Don’t forget to add bananas!

11. Anthocyanin is a very powerful antibacterial agent. Its main function is to prevent bacteria from adhering to the stomach wall and inhibit the growth of Helicobacter pylori. Foods containing anthocyanins: black wolfberry, cranberry, blueberry, grape seed, purple cabbage, eggplant, purple sweet potato, cherry, mulberry, black (red) rice. The colors of these foods are deep red, bright red, blue-purple, rose, purple, and lavender, and the darker the color, the higher the content.

12. Japanese researchers have discovered that the most important effect of zinc combined with karnosin (an amino acid) is to eliminate Helicobacter pylori. It not only prevents ulcers from forming, but also helps heal stomach ulcers. Oysters, beef, lamb and spinach are all rich in zinc.
