Purpura nephritis is an inflammatory reaction of the kidneys caused by Henoch-Schonlein purpura and is related to the body's own immunity. Purpura nephritis generally occurs after allergic purpura. Its cause may be allergic reaction caused by infection with bacteria, viruses and parasites, or allergic reaction caused by pollen, eggs, fish and meat. The recurrence rate of purpura nephritis is relatively high. Next, let’s take a closer look at how to treat purpura nephritis and prevent the recurrence of purpura nephritis? Treatment 1. Western medicine treatment The treatment plan is determined according to the pathological type of renal puncture. Hormones and immunosuppressants can be given, but attention should be paid to the side effects of hormones and immunosuppressants. The treatment effect is poor in some patients, which may lead to chronic renal failure. 2. Prognosis The overall prognosis is good, and children are better than adults. The prognosis of patients with simple hematuria is very good, while varying degrees of proteinuria and nephrotic syndrome are associated with progressive deterioration of renal function; patients with acute nephritic syndrome and pathological manifestations of grade III or above have a poor prognosis and most of them progress to ESRD. Prevention 1. In terms of diet, it is advisable to eat more light, nutritious and easily digestible foods. You can often take red dates, longans, lentils, eggplants and other foods. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits to supplement vitamin C. Avoid spicy and dry foods, fish, shrimp, crabs, smoking and drinking. 2. In terms of medication, avoid using drugs that can reduce platelets, such as cephalosporins, quinine, sodium aminosalate, rifampicin, aspirin, digoxin, quinidine, sulfonamides, promethazine, etc. Avoid using drugs that can inhibit platelet function, such as dipyridamole, dextran, etc. 3. Avoiding allergies is also very important. There are many factors that cause allergies in life, mainly bacterial infections, drugs, food, parasites, etc. If allergic factors such as plants, drugs, foods, microorganisms, etc. have been discovered or suspected, measures such as abstaining from food, avoiding contact and seeking treatment should be taken. |
