Pituitary gland disease is a very common disease in daily life. It not only causes great harm to the patient's physical health, but also seriously affects their normal life and work. Therefore, it is particularly important to have a certain understanding of this disease. Many people do not understand what pituitary disease is in women. This disease is related to the patient's gender, age, etc., so people need to have a deeper understanding of it. 1 Pituitary adenoma is related to the patient's gender, age, tumor size and extension direction, and the type of hormone secretion, including the following 4 groups of symptoms: ①Symptoms and signs caused by excessive hormone secretion from pituitary tumors, the most common of which are acromegaly, Cushing's disease and prolactinoma; ② The pituitary gland itself is compressed, mainly due to the decrease in the secretion of pituitary tropin, which generally affects growth hormone GH first, followed by luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and finally adrenocorticotropic hormone and thyrotropin. A few cases may be accompanied by diabetes insipidus. ③Compression syndrome of the tissues surrounding the pituitary gland, including headache, decreased vision, visual field defect, hypothalamic syndrome, cavernous sinus syndrome and cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea; ④ Pituitary stroke refers to infarction, necrosis or hemorrhage of pituitary adenoma and/or pituitary gland itself. Clinically, compression symptoms and meningeal irritation symptoms may appear rapidly, the clinical manifestations of hyperpituitarism may disappear or be alleviated, and even anterior pituitary function may be reduced. 2 Guidance: Most symptoms of pituitary tumors in women are incomplete or partial pituitary apoplexy, which may be mild headache, nausea and vomiting accompanied by general discomfort. No special treatment is required. The patient's symptoms will resolve on their own within a few weeks, but timely treatment is still very necessary. Do not be careless and do not delay your own health. The diagnosis of pituitary adenoma is mainly based on a comprehensive judgment of detailed medical history, careful physical examination, clinical symptoms and signs, pituitary imaging examination and endocrine function examination (including corresponding target gland function examination). Western medicine mainly treats early brain tumors with surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, immunotherapy, etc. However, with the continuous research and development of combining Chinese and Western medicine to prevent and treat tumors, Chinese medicine and Chinese herbal medicine have also played a greater role in the treatment of brain tumors. 3Pituitary adenoma is a benign tumor and early diagnosis and treatment are more effective. People with chronic headaches accompanied by progressive visual loss, visual field loss and endocrine changes should consider the possibility of this disease and see a specialist. The more severe the preoperative visual impairment, the less likely it is to recover after surgery. Therefore, early diagnosis and early treatment are the key, and are also a prerequisite for achieving selective complete resection. A sharp drop in bilateral vision in a short period of time may indicate pituitary stroke. Once confirmed, emergency surgery is required to save vision. 4Dietary care: The patient is required to fast on the day after surgery and switch to a semi-liquid diet the next day. People with poor appetite should pay attention to the color, aroma and taste of food, and eat small meals frequently. Pay attention to strengthening nutrition and provide high-protein, high-calorie, high-vitamin, and easily digestible food. Increasing the body's resistance is beneficial to the patient's recovery. |
