Pain under left ribs

Pain under left ribs

Pain is a direct manifestation of physical unhealthiness. If you feel pain in any part of the body, it goes without saying that there is something wrong with your body. Because we are not professionals (doctors), when we feel uncomfortable somewhere, it is impossible for us to immediately know what is wrong with our body. We should see a doctor in time instead of blindly getting injections or taking medicines. Otherwise the best time for treatment will be delayed.

Sometimes a certain part of the body will suddenly hurt, such as a dull pain under the left ribs. Most people have no idea why it hurts, nor do they know which organ in the body has a problem. The dull pain under the left ribs may be due to the following reasons.

1. Explanation of “pain under the left ribs”. Pain in this area is mainly caused by compression of the kidneys and colon, as well as nerve disease. If there has been no major change in your bowel movements since the onset of the pain, and sleeping posture can be ruled out, then intercostal neuralgia should be considered. Treatment takes time. You can try Voltaren ointment. If the pain is like a needle, it may be intercostal neuralgia, which is generally not a problem. If there is tenderness or dull pain, it may be caused by accidental trauma. If there is only pain but no local redness, swelling or bruising, it will get better after a period of time. If the pain is unbearable, you can use some external medications such as Yunnan Baiyao for treatment. Of course, you can also ask a local old Chinese medicine doctor to make Chinese herbal wine for treatment. If there are symptoms such as redness, swelling, heat and pain, and no history of trauma, you should consider whether it is costochondritis and it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination. Although this disease is not directly related to gallstones, some patients have experienced symptoms related to gallstones. The specific situation can only be clarified after understanding the symptoms.

2. Eat a light diet, and avoid greasy, fried, flatulent, spicy, hard, grilled, indigestible (such as rice dumplings, moon cakes, rice cakes, etc.), high-protein, high-cholesterol, high-fat foods, etc. Drink plenty of boiled water (3000ml/day), rest early (before 10:30 pm), do not overwork, do not sit for a long time, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, maintain an optimistic attitude, exercise appropriately, and pay attention to personal hygiene.

Your body is your own, so be good to it and don’t always do things that affect your health or develop bad habits. People often say that being healthy brings lightness to the body. The body is the capital of revolution. Only with a good body can you do anything you want to do. Otherwise, not only will you be unable to do anything, but you will also live a miserable life.
