How are children born?

In daily life, we often encounter children asking questions like how they were born. Reproduction allows humans to reproduce, but because the process of reproduction involves reproductive organs, many parents explain it vaguely. Babies are not born from the belly, but from the woman's vagina. So, how are children born? Let’s take a closer look below.

It's the main thing we rely on! That is the "expulsion force" during childbirth. During childbirth, there are two main forces that push the fetus out: labor pain and abdominal pressure.

1. Abdominal pressure (use force).

Abdominal pressure, commonly known as "pushing", is performed while the person is conscious. However, when the fetal head descends to press on the rectum during delivery, the person will move like having a bowel movement and will naturally exert force. Especially when the fetus is about to be born, the reflexive force exerted by the onset of labor pains is even more difficult for the expectant mother to control herself. This is called co-pressure labor.

When the contractions are intermittent, the expectant mother should rest quietly to restore her strength. If abdominal pressure and uterine contractions are coordinated properly, the time it takes to deliver the fetus will be significantly shortened. However, if improper force is used, it will not have the desired effect.

When the fetal head descends very low, it is appropriate to use abdominal pressure. At this time, the doctor will conduct a rational examination and advise the expectant mother to use abdominal pressure. If the cervix is not fully dilated, even if you feel a strong urge to defecate and must strain, do not exert force to avoid cervical edema, which will affect the progress of labor and cause fatigue in the later stages of delivery. You should breathe widely during contractions, relax all your muscles, and don't hold your breath. .

2. Labor pains.

The muscles of the uterus cannot be controlled by the will like the muscles of the hands and feet, but the contraction of the uterine muscles is periodic, which is called labor pains. The driving force behind childbirth.

As labor approaches, uterine contractions are irregular at first and then gradually become regular. The intervals gradually changed from 60 minutes or 30 minutes to 20 minutes or 15 minutes, and the tension gradually increased. When regular contractions occur at 10-minute intervals, actual labor begins. However, the conditions of each expectant mother are different. For example, a multiparous woman may not gradually shorten the interval time, but immediately go from an irregular state to a short interval of 5 minutes, and enter the delivery state in a very short time. This is something that must be paid attention to.

Finally, I want to say that although a woman’s vagina is very small, it has a strong contraction ability, and the child is not as big as you think.
