Women feel the urge to urinate in their urethra

Urethritis is a common gynecological disease, and many people are not quite sure why they suffer from this disease. There are many causes of urethritis, most of which are caused by bacterial infection. Having urethritis is not scary. You must seek timely treatment and pay more attention to it in your life. This disease is completely curable. There are several types of urethritis, each with different symptoms. During the illness, patients should pay special attention to their diet and avoid eating certain foods.

1. What are the symptoms of urethritis?

1. Symptoms of gonococcal urethritis: Gonorrhea, also known as gonorrhea, is divided into acute gonorrhea and chronic gonorrhea. The main symptoms of acute gonorrhea are difficulty urinating and purulent discharge from the urethra.

2. Symptoms of acute urethritis: There is a lot of urethral secretions, which are mucus at first and then gradually become purulent. At the same time, there are frequent urination, urgency and pain when urinating.

3. Symptoms of non-gonococcal urethritis: The symptoms are milder than those of gonorrhea. There is an itching or burning sensation in the urethra, and occasionally a stinging sensation. There is secretion in the urethral opening, but the secretion is thinner than that of gonorrhea. It is clear or light yellow, and the amount of secretion is also less than that of gonorrhea. A small amount of secretion only escapes after a long period of not urinating or before the first urination in the morning.

4. Symptoms of chronic urethritis: little secretion, mild symptoms, and some patients are asymptomatic. It is often easily overlooked and misdiagnosed.

5. Purulent secretions appear in the urethra, which are mucous at first and gradually become purulent, accompanied by redness and swelling of the urethral orifice, mucosal eversion, urgency, frequency, pain, urethral stinging, mental depression, and in severe cases, chills, high fever, and difficulty urinating. Patients with chronic urethritis will have less secretions, and symptoms such as frequent urination, painful urination, and urgency will be alleviated during non-acute attacks, accompanied only by itching or a crawling sensation.

2. What should you pay attention to when you have urethritis?

1. Diet and drinking water

Usually, you should eat more nutritious liquid or semi-liquid foods, and drink more water to ensure fluid balance and excrete enough urine. If necessary, you can get intravenous infusion to replenish water.

2. Pay attention to your work and rest schedule

You should rest in bed more and wait until your body temperature returns to normal before getting out of bed. If the disease is chronic, you should also take appropriate rest according to the condition to prevent excessive fatigue and low immunity of the body, which may cause recurrence of infection.

3. Avoid unclean sexual intercourse

When a man has urethritis, it is best for his sexual partners to also be checked. And receive formal treatment and avoid sexual contact until your sexual partner has fully recovered.

3. What should not be eaten for urethritis

1. Avoid spicy food. Eating too much spicy food (chili pepper, ginger, onion, garlic, etc.) can easily cause dryness and heat, which can cause heat and toxins to accumulate in the internal organs, resulting in symptoms such as swollen and painful gums, burning sensation in the anus, itching and pain in the front and back of the vulva, thus aggravating the symptoms of this disease.

2. Avoid seafood that may cause irritation. Fishy foods, such as mandarin fish, yellow croaker and other aquatic products can promote damp heat, which can aggravate vulvar itching after eating and is not conducive to the disappearance of inflammation.

3. Avoid sweet and greasy food. Greasy foods such as lard, fatty pork, etc., high-sugar foods such as chocolate, candy, desserts, cream cakes, etc., these foods help to increase dampness and heat and affect the treatment effect.
