The so-called tinea versicolor is what we often call tinea versicolor. The occurrence of this condition is mostly related to ultraviolet radiation and hormone secretion. In addition, if the skin care methods are not correct in daily life, tinea versicolor may also be induced.

Reason 1: Ultraviolet radiation : In order to block UVB, the basement membrane of the epidermis produces melanin to protect the skin, thus causing spots on the skin. When metabolism is normal, melanin will be peeled off with the skin's renewal process; but when metabolism is blocked or the damage from ultraviolet rays is too great, melanin cannot be basically excreted, and instead precipitates to form spots.

Reason 2: Hormone secretion : About two weeks after ovulation and before menstruation, a woman's body will secrete a large amount of corpus luteum. The secretion of the corpus luteum and the hormone that orders the production of melanin come from the pituitary gland. Therefore, when the corpus luteum increases, the melanin will also increase, making it easier to develop dark spots than usual.

Reason three: Incorrect skin care methods : rubbing too hard when applying foundation, washing face, scrubbing, and applying skin care products will damage the skin, stimulate pigmentation and cause dark spots. Using improper skin care products may cause skin allergies and inflammation, leading to pigmentation and dark spots.
