Burn scars turn black

Burn scars turn black

When we were young, we often touched hot water bottles or did not pay attention to personal skin care, which led to burns. After the burn, the scar will gradually turn black, and finally grow on the skin. When it is peeled off with hands, it will leave a large mark. How to properly care for the scar after burns?

Treatment of burn scars

Nonsurgical methods

Pure physical therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine uses pure physical methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine to eliminate the tissue inside the scar, soften the scar tissue and make it disappear, thus achieving the effect of natural repair.

There are many non-surgical methods for treating burn scars, including cryotherapy, pressure therapy, physical therapy, radiotherapy, laser therapy, and drug therapy. These methods are selected based on the specific conditions of the patient's scars. For example, pressure therapy is best used during scar formation and can effectively prevent scar proliferation. Moreover, these non-surgical methods have limitations and are not very effective in treating severe burn scars.

Surgical method

For severe burn scars, surgical treatment is generally the treatment method. To treat this type of burn scar, you can choose scar excision, fractionated excision, skin grafting, skin grinding, tissue expansion and microsurgery techniques, etc. Especially for large-area burns, tissue expansion or surgical transplantation is generally used to treat scars. For more serious burn scars on the joints, where adhesions have occurred and caused functional impairment, skin transplantation combined with traction technology can be used for treatment.

If scars are left on the skin due to burns, how should we treat them? Surgery can effectively treat burn scars and improve the skin. In order to ensure skin health, everyone must choose a regular hospital during treatment.

First of all, you should choose to go to the hospital for treatment of burn scars, and go to the hospital in time for the doctor to clean, disinfect, suture or bandage the wound. People often worry that cleaning the wound will waste time, cause more bleeding or make the wound bigger, or even refuse to clean it simply because they are afraid of pain. In fact, cleaning the wound carefully is the most basic step to avoid scars and promote wound healing.
