What causes women's feet to ache?

The most common cause of foot soreness is fatigue, and excessive use of the feet can cause some discomfort. However, if women often have sore feet, they should pay attention to it. It may be related to some diseases, the more typical ones are anemia, kidney deficiency, endocrine diseases, etc. We must have a comprehensive understanding of the possible causes, figure out the situation as soon as possible, and actively treat it. So, what is the reason why women’s feet are sore? Let’s take a look below.

1. Anemia

The presence or severity of anemia symptoms depends on the degree of anemia, the speed at which anemia occurs, whether there is a change in circulating blood volume, the patient's age, and the compensatory capacity of the cardiovascular system. Anemia occurs slowly and the body can gradually adapt. Even if the anemia is severe, physiological functions can still be maintained. On the contrary, if anemia occurs in a short period of time, even if the degree of anemia is not severe, obvious symptoms may appear. The symptoms are more obvious in the elderly and weak or those with decreased cardiopulmonary function.

2. Kidney deficiency

Kidney deficiency refers to the deficiency of kidney essence, qi, yin and yang. Symptoms of kidney deficiency: The symptoms of kidney yang deficiency are low back pain, cold limbs, fear of cold, and even edema, which are symptoms of "cold". Poor sexual function can also lead to kidney yang deficiency; the symptoms of kidney yin deficiency are "heat", mainly low back pain, dryness, night sweats, spontaneous sweats, dizziness, tinnitus, etc. Modern science has proven that when a person suffers from kidney deficiency, whether it is kidney yin deficiency or kidney yang deficiency, it will lead to a decrease in the person's immune ability, the kidney's microcirculation system will also be blocked, and the kidney network will become blocked.

3. Sitting for long periods of time and lack of exercise

Sitting for a long time will slow down the blood circulation in the lower limbs and cause insufficient blood supply, leading to muscle fatigue. Lack of exercise leads to loose and weak muscles and ligaments, and gastrocnemius muscle weakness.

4. Endocrine diseases

Endocrine gland diseases can be divided into three groups according to the function of the endocrine glands:

① Hyperfunction. It is often accompanied by a clinical syndrome caused by excessive hormone secretion from glandular hyperplasia and adenoma (cancer), such as primary aldosteronism and hyperparathyroidism.

② Functional decline. Insufficient hormone synthesis and secretion due to the destruction of endocrine glands by various reasons (such as congenital developmental abnormalities, genetics, inflammation, fibrosis or autoimmunity, drugs, surgery and radiation, etc.), such as anterior pituitary dysfunction and chronic adrenal cortex insufficiency.

③The function is normal but the glandular tissue structure is abnormal. For example, simple goiter and thyroid cancer have normal functions, but there are pathological changes in the tissue structure.

5. Poor rest

If there is not enough rest time, the muscle tissue cannot be effectively adjusted and the energy provided by the cells is insufficient, resulting in muscle soreness and weak legs.

6. Excessive exercise

Excessive exercise may also cause sore and weak legs.

7. Other diseases

Diseases such as diabetes, sciatic nerve compression, lumbar disc herniation, gout, and knee joint degeneration are not ruled out. For example, the most common causes of weak legs in the elderly are lumbar spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis.

8. Calcium deficiency

If accompanied by symptoms such as night terrors and cramps, this is a sign of calcium deficiency in the calf bones and you should supplement calcium and vitamin D in time.
