Urticaria is a skin reaction when the body is stimulated by allergens. If the food that causes urticaria is identified as the allergen, then these foods must not be eaten. In addition, the diet should be light, nutritious and easy to digest. Eat more vegetables and fruits. People with abdominal pain should avoid eating rough, shelled and hard foods to avoid aggravating the abdominal pain and causing possible upper gastrointestinal bleeding. People with diarrhea should not eat foods with high fiber content or foods that can moisturize the intestines, such as celery, bananas, etc. The diet should be warm, not too cold or too hot, avoid greasy and cold foods, and do not eat spicy foods, such as beef, mutton, chicken, seafood, coriander, leek, ginger, garlic, onion, eggs, fungi, etc. Do not drink strong tea or alcohol.

Cereals, beans, and potatoes: For urticaria caused by cold rash, it is appropriate to use japonica rice, indica rice, sorghum, soybeans, lentils, etc.; for urticaria caused by heat rash, it is appropriate to use barley, wheat, coix seed, mung bean, etc.; for those with poor digestive function, yellow and greasy tongue coating, abdominal bloating or constipation, it is appropriate to use less glutinous rice, soybeans, potatoes, etc.; buckwheat, barley, taro, etc. have the effect of reducing gas and relaxing the intestines and are more suitable.

Vegetables: For cold rash, you can choose ginger, pumpkin, onion, garlic, pepper, coriander, etc., which are warm or neutral in nature; for heat rash, you can choose cucumber, wax gourd, celery, fungus, loofah, day lily, etc., which are cold or neutral in nature.

Fruits: Same as vegetables, peaches, cherries, chestnuts, and walnuts are suitable for cold rash; pears, apples, grapes, hawthorns, kiwis, bananas, persimmons, etc. are suitable for internal heat.

Livestock, poultry, fish, seafood: During the acute attack period, if the trigger is still uncertain, you should try to be a vegetarian to prevent the condition from getting worse. Chronic patients, especially those with insufficient qi and blood, can eat some foods that replenish qi and blood, among which lean meat, snake meat, eel, turtle, etc. are the most suitable. But it should be noted that there are eels and turtles on the market that are fed with estrogen to promote growth, and eating them will cause the condition to recur.

Eggs and dairy products: There are many foods that can cause allergies and urticaria. Some people are allergic to eggs, fresh milk, yogurt, and cheese, so it is necessary to find out whether the occurrence of urticaria is related to these eggs and dairy products. If not, you can use them in small amounts.

Condiments: For cold rash, you can use fermented black beans, pepper, Sichuan pepper, mustard, etc., and a small amount of cooking wine; for heat rash, try to use less condiments.
