Papular urticaria caused by allergies

Papular urticaria caused by allergies

Allergy is a common disease. We can have allergic reactions to some foods or even some objects. Allergy is actually a major cause of urticaria. For example, papular urticaria occurs widely. There are certain causes for this disease, but most of them are allergies. So what is papular urticaria caused by allergies?

For systemic urticaria caused by allergies like this, it is recommended to treat it with oral medication, which is more effective. It is recommended to take cetirizine orally, one tablet a day for a week. In addition, you can apply a little desonide cream to the more obvious local areas, which is better than paeonol ointment.

Papular urticaria, also known as "insect bite dermatitis", is a common itchy skin disease that occurs in infants and young children. It also occurs in adults, mostly women. Common people often call this skin disease "acclimatization". Sometimes several people in a family become ill one after another. It is not the same disease as urticaria.

Insect bites are the most common cause. This disease is common in spring, summer and autumn, especially in warm and humid seasons when insects are more active and prone to movement. The number of mites, mosquitoes, bedbugs, fleas, etc. is gradually increasing, and people with allergic constitutions will have allergic reactions after being bitten by these insects. Some statistics show that more than 80% of papular urticaria is caused by insect bites. It is more likely to occur in people who hang out in parks, lakeside areas, grassy areas, or wooded areas. Especially for those who have lived in cities for a long time, when they first arrive in rural areas with relatively poor sanitary conditions, they are more likely to come into contact with various insects after outdoor activities or travel, and are more likely to become ill. In a few people, the disease is induced, promoted or aggravated by food, such as seafood, eggs, milk and poor digestion.

Because most of the course of this disease is self-limited. The treatment principle is mainly to alleviate symptoms, reduce pain, shorten the course of the disease, and prevent secondary infection. Antipruritic, anti-allergic, disinfectant and anti-inflammatory agents can be applied topically, such as antipruritic tinctures, corticosteroid lotions, antibacterial ointments, oral antiallergic drugs, antihistamines, etc.

Pay attention to personal hygiene and household hygiene, and frequently dry bedding, mattresses, sofa cushions, carpets, etc., and avoid items and utensils that are prone to hiding and breeding mites. Diligently kill mosquitoes, fleas, lice, etc. Avoid insect bites, irritating foods, and suspected allergenic foods. Pay special attention to pet hygiene. When preparing for travel, outings or other outdoor activities, prepare some insect repellent or common medicines.
