Chronic urticaria can heal itself in a few years

There are many types of diseases such as urticaria, including chronic urticaria. Urticaria can be cured, but most of them can only treat the symptoms and not the root cause, and it takes some time to recover. However, chronic urticaria can heal itself within a certain period of time. Many people don’t know the specific time for it to heal itself. So how many years will it take for chronic urticaria to heal itself?

The lack of reliable "root cause" treatment does not mean that you will be troubled by the disease for the rest of your life. Large-sample studies conducted abroad and in China have confirmed that chronic urticaria can resolve on its own and may even not recur, which is called self-healing. Different types of urticaria and different conditions of urticaria will disappear on their own at different times (which is what we call the course of the disease in medicine).

For patients with skin scratches, positive autologous serum test (a special autoimmune method for detecting chronic urticaria, which is being carried out in many hospitals including Southwest Hospital), and severe illness, the course of the disease is usually long, mostly 1-2 years, or even 2-10 years. About 1% of patients may have attacks lasting more than 10 years. Therefore, many patients will recover on their own after 1-2 years, and this situation cannot be changed by drugs. At least so far, there is no treatment that can definitely shorten the course of the disease.

The current medical level cannot completely eradicate chronic urticaria, but chronic urticaria is a disease that can heal itself. Generally speaking, this disease can heal itself after a period of time.

How many years it takes to cure chronic urticaria depends on the patient's disease condition. Chronic urticaria is a relatively common skin disease. The disease factors that cause chronic urticaria are relatively complex. The disease conditions of patients with chronic urticaria are different for each patient, so the length of treatment time will also be affected by the patient's disease condition. If the patient's disease condition is relatively mild, it may be relatively easier to treat, and the time required for treatment will be greatly shortened.

The treatment plan chosen by the patient is very important. There are many treatment methods for diseases such as chronic urticaria. Patients need to determine the best treatment plan based on their specific disease conditions. This can better treat chronic urticaria and save treatment time. During the treatment of chronic urticaria, the earlier the treatment, the better the treatment effect.
