I started to urinate white liquid
You start to urinate white liquid, a symptom known medically as white discharge. If white discharge is accompanied by symptoms such as frequent urination and painful urination, it may be a precursor to prostatitis. For men, the health of the prostate determines the quality of their sex life, so if white discharge occurs, active treatment must be carried out to prevent it from deteriorating into prostatitis!

About Dibai

White discharge is the first sign of chronic prostatitis. Due to prostate inflammation, the secretion of prostatic fluid increases, and most of it overflows on its own. When you wake up in the morning, you will often find thin watery secretions dripping out of the urethra. Thick milky white mucus may also appear. The most obvious thing is that one or two drops of white substance are discharged from the urethra after urination or during bowel movements. This is called leucorrhea in traditional Chinese medicine, and is collectively called white dripping in modern times. If there are no other symptoms, white discharge alone will not cause much pain and is often ignored by patients. However, white discharge is the earliest typical symptom of chronic prostatitis and should be taken seriously, treated early, and prevented from further development.

What does white discharge after urination signal?

Some young and middle-aged male patients will find milky white secretions flowing out of their urethra after urinating. Since this symptom is often accompanied by frequent urination, urethral irritation, low back pain, dizziness, insomnia, sexual dysfunction, impotence and other symptoms, most patients often mistake the phenomenon of white dripping after urination as missing semen, calling it the root cause of "physical deficiency", which causes them to carry a psychological burden.

In fact, white discharge after urination is not caused by semen leakage, but by chronic prostatitis. The white secretion that flows out is prostatic fluid, not semen. Excessive drinking, cold, perineum injury, abnormal sexual life, frequent sexual impulses, and long-distance cycling and horse riding can all lead to prostate congestion and blood stasis, which are important factors that cause prostate inflammation. This disease can be cured by following the doctor's advice or taking antibiotics and oral Chinese medicine.

Patients with chronic prostatitis may experience a small amount of white liquid flowing out of the urethra in the morning, at the end of urination, or during bowel movements due to congestion, swelling, and increased secretion of the prostate. This is called prostatic discharge, also known as white dripping, and is a reference indicator for diagnosing chronic prostatitis.

Before and after urination and when defecating, a small amount of sticky milky white secretion flows out of the urethra. Most of it is prostatic fluid, which may also be mixed with a small amount of secretion from the bulbourethral glands. This is because the prostate and bulbourethral glands are located at the bottom of the pelvis, and the muscles involved in defecation will compress these two glands when they contract, thereby expelling a small amount of secretions. Since normal defecation does not require much force, this white dripping phenomenon may not occur, or even if it occurs, it may not attract people's attention. However, when constipation or prostate inflammation occurs, this white discharge phenomenon is very common. Frequent white discharge, large amounts of turbid liquid, and other corresponding symptoms may indicate chronic prostatitis. If the white discharge is serious, it must be treated early. Long-term discharge of prostatic fluid will have a great impact on sexual function.

How to distinguish between nocturnal emission and white discharge?

First, the way of excretion is different: nocturnal emission is often discharged unconsciously before or after urination or defecation; nocturnal emission usually requires ejaculation.

Second, the amount discharged is different: the semen of nocturnal emission is generally more than 2ml, with an average of 3~5ml; the amount of white droplets can be more or less, and is relatively turbid.

The third is the different properties. When semen is just ejaculated, it is grayish white and thick and jelly-like. It begins to liquefy and become a thin and transparent liquid after about 10 minutes. The semen is a white turbid liquid without any liquefaction changes.

Fourthly, the main accompanying symptoms are different: nocturnal emission is generally accompanied by dysuria; white discharge is often accompanied by dysuria and bladder irritation symptoms.
