What are the symptoms of liver rehydration?

In life, we have all heard of a disease called ascites. But most people have only heard of it, and actually don’t know much about the relevant knowledge of this disease. Nowadays, ascites is also a very common disease. We hope that everyone can understand some related symptoms so that they can receive timely treatment when they find them. So, what are the symptoms of ascites?

Symptom 1 : Hypoproteinemia : What are the obvious symptoms of ascites? It is because the liver cannot synthesize albumin from nutrients digested and absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract. Due to the decrease in serum albumin, the intravascular colloid osmotic pressure decreases, and plasma components extravasate to form ascites.

Symptom 2: Endocrine disorders: In active cirrhosis, the liver's inactivation of antidiuretic hormone is greatly reduced, its content increases, resulting in reduced urination, and can also cause edema and ascites.

Symptom 3: Lymphatic flow disorder: The human body's lymphatic circulation is also called the third circulation, which refers to a circulatory system located outside the arteries, veins, and capillaries. Normal people have lymphatic circulation everywhere, especially between the liver sinusoids and hepatocytes, where there is abundant lymph fluid. Due to the lesions, the liver not only increases the pressure in the portal vein, but also increases the pressure in the lymph vessels, causing the lumen to expand and lymphatic reflux to be obstructed, resulting in lymph overflow and the formation of ascites.

Symptom 4: Portal hypertension: The portal vein and inferior vena cava are also called the portal cava, which is the connection between the blood circulation of the liver and other parts of the body. It is also the only way for the hepatic artery and hepatic vein to enter and exit. What are the obvious symptoms of ascites? Under normal circumstances, the capacity of its arteriovenous bed is basically equal, and the amount of input blood flow and output blood flow is in balance.

Generally, in cirrhosis of the liver, due to degeneration, necrosis of liver cells and proliferation of fibrous tissue, the intrahepatic vascular bed is compressed, twisted, deformed and narrowed, which blocks the blood vessels, causes congestion of the hepatic sinusoids, greatly reduces blood flow, and makes the input volume significantly greater than the output volume, which increases the portal vein pressure. At the same time, the capillary venous pressure also increases. Over time, blood return to the gastrointestinal tract, mesentery, peritoneum, etc. is obstructed, vascular permeability increases, and plasma components in the blood leak out, forming ascites.

What are the obvious symptoms of ascites? I believe that after reading the above article, you must have an understanding of the symptoms of ascites. If you find yourself having the above symptoms, you must go to the hospital for a thorough check-up to avoid making the condition worse. At the same time, the editor also hopes that patients with ascites can actively treat this disease with a good attitude.
