Pain in left rib cage below chest

Pain in left rib cage below chest

The common cause of cramps in the ribs below the left chest is insufficient blood supply to the myocardium. It may also be related to sleeping posture, possibly due to pressure while sleeping. Today, let’s not talk about the problem of sleeping posture, but mainly talk about the problem of insufficient blood supply to the myocardium. You may not know much about myocardial ischemia. Next, let’s learn about the early symptoms of myocardial ischemia.

Early symptoms of myocardial insufficiency: 1. Exercise-related sore throat, burning sensation, tightness, toothache, etc. 2. Chest pain and tightness occur after a full meal, cold weather, or drinking. 3. Feeling drowsy, weak, listless, and tired all the time during the day... The above symptoms may be a manifestation of insufficient blood supply to the heart. 4. When tired or mentally stressed, there will be dull pain behind the sternum or in front of the heart, or a tightening pain, which radiates to the left shoulder and left upper arm. It will last for 3 to 5 minutes and then resolve on its own after rest. In severe cases, it may be accompanied by sweating.

5. Chest tightness, palpitations, and shortness of breath occur during physical activity and are relieved on their own during rest. 6. When the pillow is low when sleeping at night, you will feel chest tightness and shortness of breath, and you need to lie in a high pillow to feel comfortable; if you suddenly have chest pain, palpitations, and difficulty breathing when you are sleeping soundly or lying flat during the day, you need to sit up or stand up immediately to relieve the pain. 7. Feeling anxious, chest tightness, shortness of breath, or chest pain during sexual intercourse or straining to defecate. 8. Sudden bradycardia, low blood pressure or syncope. Insufficient blood supply to the myocardium can lead to myocardial hypoxia and weakened heart function, and is the number one enemy to human health. Myocardial ischemia is mostly caused by hyperlipidemia and hypercholesterolemia caused by lifestyle factors such as unreasonable diet and lack of exercise. They will be deposited on the inner walls of the arteries until they form atherosclerotic plaques, causing blood vessel stenosis or even blockage, and eventually leading to serious diseases such as coronary heart disease.

Myocardial insufficiency: Heart activity requires adequate energy supply. The heart's blood supply has two notable characteristics: 1. Although the weight of the heart is less than 1% of the total body weight, it requires 20% of the body's blood volume to meet the heart's own blood supply; 2. In order to meet the special needs of the heart's blood supply, the human body also has its own blood supply system to ensure adequate blood supply. The heart's own blood supply system is the coronary circulation.
