What is the density of lung soft tissue?

People who often have physical examinations know that the examination items in the hospital are not only very numerous, but also very complicated. At the same time, the price of many examinations is also very expensive. Many examination results are expressed in professional terms, so you can only understand the situation by consulting a doctor. For example, the soft tissue density of the lungs, I believe that many friends do not know enough about it, so what is the soft tissue density of the lungs?

First, what is the density shadow of the soft tissue of the lung? When X-rays penetrate low-density tissues, less is absorbed, and more X-rays remain, making the X-ray film more sensitive and more metallic silver reduced through photochemical reactions, so the X-ray film appears black; the fluorescent screen produces more fluorescence, so the fluorescent screen is bright. High-density tissue is just the opposite.

Second, there are soft tissue density shadows and nodular shadows in the right lung. In this case, soft tissue shadows and nodules in the lung mainly refer to lung inflammation and lung tumors. If the anti-inflammatory treatment is not ideal, the shadows will gradually increase in size. Further MRI or fiberbronchoscopy should be performed, and lung puncture can be performed if necessary. Pathology is the gold standard for diagnosis of malignant lung lesions.

Third, the nodule shadow in the right lower lung has uneven density and clear edges. In this case, it is likely to be tuberculosis.

This situation is not necessarily lung cancer. It is more likely to be tuberculoma. It is recommended to conduct PPD test, sputum bacteria test, bronchoscopy, etc. to confirm the diagnosis, and consider puncture pathological examination if necessary.

What is the soft tissue density shadow in the lungs? In this case, it is considered to be a lung mass, and malignant tumors cannot be ruled out. It is recommended that you continue to visit the thoracic surgery department of a regular hospital, combined with CT examination and pleural effusion or tumor pathology examination to further clarify the diagnosis. It is recommended to go to the respiratory department or oncology department of a better local regular hospital as soon as possible for further relevant examinations (excluding whether there is metastasis, etc.). If the physical condition is good, there are no large blood vessels near the tumor and no metastasis has occurred, surgery + radiotherapy is recommended. If there is metastasis, choose palliative treatment or other treatment methods according to the situation.
