Mental disorders are quite harmful to patients, mainly in terms of psychological and physiological aspects. If a mental disorder persists for one year without being cured, the patient still has cognitive, emotional and behavioral disorders. At this time, the mental disorder can be graded. The more common classifications are severe, moderate and mild. You can go to the corresponding hospital for diagnosis.

Classification of mental disability (1) Severe (Level 1): Three or more of the five items are rated as 2 points. (2) Moderate (Level 2): ​​One or two of the five items were rated as 2 points. (3) Mild (Level 3): Two or more of the five items are rated as 1 point. The list is as follows: Social function assessment items are normal or slightly abnormal; there are functional defects; severe functional defects; personal self-care ability 0 points 1 point 2 points; family life function performance 0 points 1 point 2 points; care and responsibility for family members 0 points 1 point 2 points; professional labor ability 0 points 1 point 2 points; social activity ability 0 points 1 point 2 points

Classification of mental disability: Level 1: Severe disorder in adaptive behavior; completely unable to take care of oneself, and neglecting one's basic physical and psychological needs. You can’t interact with people, you can’t do your job, and you can’t learn new things. The environment needs to provide comprehensive and extensive support, and life needs to be long-term and fully supervised by others. Level 2 mental disability: severe disorder in adaptive behavior; unable to take care of oneself for most of the time, basically does not interact with others, only interacts with caregivers in a simple way, can understand simple instructions from caregivers, and has certain learning ability. Able to perform simple labor under supervision. Able to express their basic needs and occasionally participate passively in social activities; require extensive support from the environment and still need care from others for most of their lives. Level 3 mental disability: moderate disorder in adaptive behavior; unable to take care of oneself completely, but can have simple communication with others and express one's emotions. They can independently perform simple labor and learn new things, but their learning ability is obviously worse than that of ordinary people. Passively participate in social activities, and occasionally actively participate in social activities; the environment needs to provide partial support, that is, the support services needed are regular and short-term needs, and part of life needs to be taken care of by others. Level 4 Mental Disability: Mild disorder in adaptive behavior; can basically take care of oneself in life, but the self-care ability is worse than that of ordinary people, and sometimes neglects personal hygiene. Able to interact with others and express their own emotions, but has poor ability to understand other people's emotions. Able to do general work, and their ability to learn new things is slightly worse than that of ordinary people. They occasionally need support from the environment, but generally do not need to be taken care of by others in their lives.

Mental disability can be caused by the following mental illnesses: (1) schizophrenia; (2) affective and reactive mental disorders; (3) mental disorders caused by organic brain and physical diseases; (4) mental disorders caused by psychoactive substances; (5) mental disorders in children and adolescents; (6) other mental disorders
