Can labia ulcers heal themselves?

People will encounter various diseases in life. The locations where many diseases occur will give patients a headache, especially some women will find that their labia are ulcerated. When many women encounter this situation, they are unwilling to go to the hospital for treatment due to their shame. However, this idea is wrong. Seek medical attention in time when this happens. So, can labia ulcers heal on their own?

First, can labia ulcers heal on their own ? No, labia ulcers should be treated promptly, and the following methods can alleviate the situation. Local symptomatic treatment: Keep the vulva clean and dry and reduce friction. Take a sitz bath with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution. Ulcers caused by nonspecific vulvitis can be treated with topical antibiotic ointment. Other ulcers should be treated according to their different causes. Rinse the affected area with 0.1% ethacridine solution or apply a wet compress. Applying neomycin, chloramphenicol, gentamicin, or dyclonine ointment or cream externally or adding the above drugs to wet compresses for wet compresses can be helpful. Glucocorticoid ointment is better used during the recovery period of ulcer. Grind realgar into fine powder, sterilize it under high pressure, mix it with glycerin, add a few drops of 1% tetracaine solution, and make it into a paste. During treatment, first apply a cotton ball with 1% tetracaine solution to the ulcer surface for 3 to 10 minutes to relieve pain, and then lightly apply realgar glycerin paste on the ulcer. 23 cases were treated and the healing time was 42 days on average.

Second, when there are purulent secretions and necrotic tissue in the vulvar ulcer , apply purple carbuncle ointment (containing 9g each of talcum powder, rouge, amber powder, agarwood powder, and blood scorpion, 0.9g each of borneol and calcined pearl powder, 30g of beeswax, and 120ml of sesame oil) externally. ④ The treatment principle is to strengthen the spleen, clear away heat, detoxify and eliminate dampness: use Dixie Shenshi Decoction (Diixie, raw coix seed, Phellodendron, Poria, Moutan bark, Alisma, Talcum, Smilax glabra). In case of high fever, add Baihu Decoction. In case of leucorrhea, add more wild yam.

Can labia ulcers heal themselves ? Vaginal itching is mostly caused by vaginitis caused by trichomonas or fungal infection, which causes a large amount of abnormal leucorrhea to irritate the vulva, causing itching of the vulva; if disinfectant solution is used to wash the vulva and vagina, or certain drugs are placed in the vagina (such as sulfonamides, furazolidone, strong alkaline soaps, potassium permanganate solution, etc.), causing vulvar skin allergies or dermatitis, it can also cause vulvar itching; not paying attention to hygiene during menstruation, or using rubber or plastic menstrual belts, and not washing the vulva regularly, causing menstrual blood or vaginal secretions to accumulate in the vulva for a long time; or wearing synthetic underwear at ordinary times, which often puts the vulva in a hot and humid environment, often causing vulvar itching. It is recommended to go to a regular hospital gynecology department for pathogenic examination of vaginal or cervical secretions, and symptomatic treatment after a clear diagnosis.
