What medicine is used for skin metal allergy

Our skin is a very delicate area, especially for women, who spend a long time on their face and skin every day. Some people have allergic skin, which not only affects their appearance but also causes great psychological harm. There are many channels for allergies, such as: UV allergy, metal allergy, peanut allergy, pollen allergy, seafood allergy and many other channels. If you have skin allergies, you need to take medicine to treat it. What medicine is needed for skin allergies to metals?

Our skin structure is mainly divided into epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous tissue. The outermost layer is the epidermis, which is the main manifestation of our skin's appearance.

Metal allergy is a special physical problem, and its typical symptoms are flaky red spots below the navel, peeling, itching, and even blisters. It is more obvious when the weather is hot in summer and improves on its own in winter. For treatment, you can apply trametesin cream externally to relieve symptoms. Prevention is the key to this disease, such as not letting your skin come into contact with belt buckles, keys, coins, necklaces, etc. It is best to replace the belt buckle with a cloth one.

Oral anti-allergic drugs such as chlorpheniramine, vitamin C, calcium gluconate, topical hormone ointment such as Eucerin, etc. (Hormone should not be used for a long time). After treatment, it will gradually recover, don't worry. Try to avoid external irritants and local irritation in daily life. Do not eat sour, spicy dishes or other irritating foods. During the attack period, avoid eating yellow croaker, shrimp, seafood and other foods that are easy to cause allergies.

Metal allergy can occur locally on the skin, causing allergic contact dermatitis, or it can cause systemic allergic dermatitis. Therefore, once unexplained dermatitis occurs, you must go to a qualified hospital to undergo a metal patch test to determine which metal you are allergic to, and then study the route through which the metal enters the body. If it can be prevented from entering again, the allergic reaction will no longer occur. However, completing this process is often very difficult, and therefore, it often takes a long time to be cured. Previously, there was no treatment other than avoiding contact with metal allergens, and there was no medication available to treat it. A recent study has shown that tetracycline can form insoluble chelates with free metals, thereby preventing their absorption and avoiding allergic reactions. The specific method is to take 200 mg of minocycline orally daily, which can significantly reduce the occurrence of metal skin allergies. Therefore, if you have a metal allergy and it is difficult to identify the allergen and your symptoms do not improve, you may want to give it a try.

Symptoms of skin sensitivity

1. Dry and rough

The skin barrier is damaged, the evaporation of water inside the skin increases, and the water retention capacity is extremely poor. The skin becomes dry, dehydrated, and even peeling. The surface feels rough and dry fine lines are generated.

2. Accelerated aging

Because the skin barrier is lost, ultraviolet rays become more damaging to the dermis of the skin, which directly leads to accelerated loss of collagen, making the skin prone to aging, sagging, dullness and spots.

3. Sensitive and fragile

Because the skin's natural defenses are damaged, the skin is easily stimulated by external factors such as sunlight and chemicals, resulting in sensitive skin symptoms such as redness, stinging, itching, and intolerance to skin care products.

4. Oily skin and acne

Some oily skins, because of damaged skin barrier, become more dehydrated skin, causing the skin's sebum membrane to secrete more oil. In addition, when the barrier is damaged, it is more susceptible to bacterial infection, breeding blackheads and acne.
