Chinese patent medicine for removing internal heat

The loss of Yin fluid in the human body breaks the original balance of Yin and Yang, and the Yang becomes relatively hyperactive, leading to the virtual fire disease of Yin deficiency and excessive fire. It has a good effect by nourishing blood and relieving internal heat. There are four commonly used Chinese patent medicines.

1. Dabuyin Pill is a representative prescription for treating deficiency fire, which is composed of Rehmannia root, Anemarrhena root (fried with salt), Phellodendron chinense (fried with salt), and Tortoise shell.

(Prepared), pig spinal cord formula. Efficacy: Nourishes yin and reduces fire. It is suitable for symptoms such as bone steaming, hot flashes, spermatorrhea, night sweats, vomiting blood, hemoptysis, dizziness, tinnitus, deafness, restlessness, insomnia, dry mouth and throat, and soreness of the waist and knees caused by yin deficiency and excessive fire. Oral administration: 1 pill (6 g) at a time, 2-3 times a day, with light salt water or warm water. Avoid spicy food; use with caution if you have weak spleen and stomach, or have loose stools due to poor appetite.

2. Qinghao Biejia Pills are composed of ginseng, astragalus, atractylodes, raw rehmannia, turtle shell, tortoise shell glue, artemisia annua spicate, and Lycium bark. Efficacy: Nourishing yin, clearing away heat, and replenishing qi. It is suitable for patients with internal heat in the bones, or chills and fever similar to malaria, or coolness in the morning and heat in the evening, gradually leading to cough with red sputum, muscle wasting and bone atrophy, frequent strange dreams at night, and tuberculosis. Take 9 grams each morning and evening on an empty stomach with warm water.

3. Guishao Dihuang Wan is composed of Angelica sinensis, White Peony Root (fried with wine), Rehmannia glutinosa, Cornus officinalis (processed), Cortex Moutan, Dioscorea batatas, Poria cocos, and Alisma orientalis. Efficacy: Nourishes the liver and kidneys, replenishes yin and blood, and clears away heat. It is suitable for liver and kidney deficiency, yin deficiency and blood deficiency, dizziness, tinnitus and dry throat, afternoon hot flashes, back and leg pain, and heel pain. For oral administration, take 6 grams of water-honey pills at a time, 9 grams of small honey pills at a time, and 1 large honey pill (9 grams) at a time, 2-3 times a day.

4. Yangpeng Qingfei Pills are composed of Rehmannia glutinosa, Scrophularia ningpoensis, Ophiopogon japonicus, Fritillaria cirrhosa, Cortex moutan, White Peony Root, Menthus fritillariae and Licorice. Efficacy: Nourishes yin and moistens the lungs, clears away heat and relieves sore throat. Suitable for dry and sore throat, dry cough; little or no sputum. —Oral administration, 1 pill (9 g) at a time, 2 times a day. Avoid smoking, drinking and spicy food.
