What are the early symptoms of purpura?

What are the early symptoms of purpura?

Purpura is a relatively common disease. For example, allergic purpura can cause great harm to patients. Although it is a dermatological disease, it can also have a great impact on the internal organs of the body. If the disease is more serious, it may even cause kidney lesions and some joint symptoms, such as joint pain, nausea, vomiting, bloody stools and many other symptoms.

What are the early symptoms of purpura?

First, it can cause kidney disease.

When the disease occurs, hematuria will occur in the early stages, which will lead to nephrotic syndrome in patients, accompanied by mild proteinuria. Some patients may also develop nephritis, which can cause high blood pressure.

Second, joint symptoms.

In the early stages of the disease, joint pain, arthritis symptoms, and swelling around the joints may occur, primarily in the knee joints, most commonly in adults. If not treated in time, it will affect normal life and cause sequelae.

Third, gastrointestinal symptoms.

The main symptom is abdominal pain, which is mainly caused by blood penetration of the intestinal wall. Patients with milder symptoms may experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and bloody stools.

Fourth, skin symptoms.

Skin symptoms are more obvious and more common. The patient's skin will develop brown-red maculopapules that are relatively prominent on the surface. Some appear individually, while others appear in patches. They will also be itchy and painful, with recurring attacks.

Fifth, other symptoms.

A small number of patients may experience scrotal edema, lung damage, and central nervous system disorders. The above five aspects are the early symptoms of purpura. Through my detailed introduction, I believe everyone has some understanding of the relevant information about Henoch-Schönlein purpura. Patients with purpura and other symptoms should go to the hospital for examination in time. During the treatment process, correct care should be taken to prevent the progression of the disease. I wish all patients a speedy recovery.
