Why don't you sweat?

Sweating in hot weather is a normal phenomenon. The sweat glands on human skin are relatively developed, and sweating helps to excrete toxic substances from the body. Therefore, even if the weather is hot, you should sweat when you should, which is more beneficial to your health. But why do some people not sweat? According to relevant sources, everyone has a different physique. Some people may not like to sweat by nature, but some people need to be wary of diseases and it is best to seek medical diagnosis.

1. This is because your physical condition is in a certain unhealthy "illness-induced" state! Perhaps you have been living or working in an air-conditioned environment for a long time, or your body's excretion system is not healthy enough, and your sweat glands are blocked and need to be "unblocked"! Generally speaking, when the environment is hot to a certain degree, people's sweat glands will sweat to eliminate toxins, maintain the internal environment, and ensure health. If your sweat glands are blocked for a long time, you can help them "open" by doing more physical exercise. After a few times of sweating, your sweat glands will become normal and you will be able to sweat normally and regularly!

2. Less sweat or no sweat on the skin surface may be caused by abnormalities in the sweat glands themselves or abnormalities at a certain level of the neural pathway. The main causes are the following four aspects

1. Congenital sweat gland hypoplasia or lack of sweat glands can manifest as systemic or localized anhidrosis.

2. Certain skin diseases can also cause anhidrosis or hypohidrosis.

3. Nerve damage can cause generalized or localized anhidrosis.

4. Certain visceral diseases, such as diabetes, diabetes insipidus, chronic nephritis, myxedema and malignant tumors, are also causes. In addition, vitamin A deficiency can also cause anhidrosis. Except for anhidrosis caused by congenital sweat gland hypoplasia, which currently cannot be cured, anhidrosis caused by other diseases should be actively treated for the primary disease. People with no sweat and extreme physical discomfort can move to low-temperature areas or use artificial cooling methods, such as staying in air-conditioned rooms more often.
