What to do if your two-month-old baby has recurrent eczema

Mothers and grandmothers with parenting experience should know that infants and young children in swaddling clothes are particularly prone to eczema. In fact, the occurrence of eczema is not only related to the baby's delicate skin, but the biggest reason is that adults love their children so much that they dress their children in too many clothes, causing them to sweat, and then fail to clean them in time. Of course, there are many causes of eczema, and only careful care can prevent recurrence.

1. Eczema is mostly caused by covering up. The first thing is to prevent the child from getting too hot. According to the weather, you can judge whether the baby is sweating and whether he is wearing too many clothes by looking at his hands and back, and remove clothes appropriately.

2. When the baby is crying and feeling uncomfortable, use mild water to gently clean the affected area, and then apply an appropriate amount of eczema cream.

3. Generally, eczema grows on the face. When babies feel uncomfortable, they like to scratch it with their hands, which often causes bloody scratches and is prone to infection. To prevent this situation, it is best to give the baby a pair of gloves. Most parents will directly put clean socks on their children.

4. During the period when the baby has eczema, if the baby is breastfed, the mother should also pay attention to the baby's diet. The baby should not eat too hot food, and it is best not to eat seafood.

5. Babies with eczema will have tantrums. Do not let the baby stay in the room often. Parents should take him out for some fresh air. Remember not to wipe the baby's face with breast milk, as breast milk is the most taboo for eczema.

6. If the symptoms are not relieved, seek medical attention as soon as possible. There are many eczema creams on the market that are specifically for treating eczema. Parents should choose carefully, because eczema creams are used in different ways for different symptoms.
