1. Protect your home from the cold.

2. Start eating a light diet.

Food, like medicine, has four properties: cold, hot, cool, and warm, and five flavors: sour, bitter, sweet, pungent, and salty. Dysmenorrhea may also occur if you eat too much raw or cold fruits, cold drinks, salted, vinegar, seafood and other cold and sour foods during menstruation. Therefore, a light diet should be adopted during menstruation.

3. Be in a good mood.

If you experience sudden, intense or long-term mental stimulation during menstruation, you may develop dysmenorrhea. During menstruation, Yin blood is depleted, Yang Qi is hyperactive, and emotions are easily agitated. Once there is worry, depression, and anger, it is very easy to cause Qi stagnation, blood circulation disorders, and dysmenorrhea. Therefore, during menstruation, you should consciously control your emotions to stay calm, happy and relaxed.

4. There should be a balance between work and rest.

Proper labor and rest can harmonize qi and blood. Before menstruation, the body will experience symptoms such as back pain and weak legs due to physiological changes. If you are too lazy to move and sit or lie down all the time at this time, it will cause disharmony of Qi and blood circulation, leading to pain during menstruation. Therefore, you need to engage in appropriate activities before menstruation to promote the smooth flow of qi and blood. Of course, you should avoid excessive activity, otherwise the loss of qi and body fluid will also lead to dysmenorrhea.

When you have menstrual pain, buy some brown sugar, add a few slices of ginger, put it in a pot with water and boil it, then drink the water when it is warm enough to relieve the pain.

Prepare a hot water bottle, but be careful not to make it too hot. About 60-70 degrees is enough. Then put it on your lower abdomen, which can also relieve pain.

If the pain is really severe, don't endure it. It is not good for your body. You can go to the hospital to check if there is an organic problem. If not, you can take some medicine under the doctor's guidance or see a Chinese medicine doctor. Chinese medicine is more effective.
