Pain in the tip of the penis

Pain in the tip of the penis

The penis is the most private organ of men. It is also relatively fragile and needs to be well protected. Many male diseases are reflected in the penis. Some male friends find that the front end of their penis hurts after having sex, and some even have symptoms such as redness and swelling, and they don’t understand what’s going on. In fact, if this happens, the patient needs to deal with it carefully, go to the andrology department for a check-up to see if the penis is infected, and wear loose underwear to avoid putting pressure on the penis.

Causes of Penis Pain:

1. Various injuries, mosquito bites, papules or any epidermal injuries.

2. Excessive sexual intercourse.

3. Genital epidermal infection.

4. Prostate inflammation often causes pain in the penis, which may be caused by infection or irritation in the penis.

5. Urethritis and gonorrhea. It is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse and causes painful symptoms.

6. In uncircumcised men, infection inside the foreskin (balanitis) is prone to occur, which can also cause the penis to swell and become painful.

Prevention of Penile Pain:

1. Maintain an optimistic and open-minded attitude, and be good at regulating and controlling negative emotions.

2. Moderate sexual activity and avoid strong sexual stimulation.

3. Eat less fatty and sweet foods, drink less alcohol, and eat more coarse grains, radishes, and green vegetables.

4. Do not abuse various supplements for nourishing the kidneys and strengthening yang.

5. Check whether the foreskin is too long. If so, choose surgery at the appropriate age.

6. Pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva to prevent infection.

Penile examination

Pain on or inside the penis. Commonly there are several painful symptoms such as glans penis cramps during sexual intercourse or ejaculation, stinging pain in the foreskin, soreness in the perineum and lumbosacral region after ejaculation, and burning pain in the urethra when urinating after ejaculation.

Differential Diagnosis

Symptoms of penis pain that are easily confused:

Peyronie's disease: It often occurs in middle-aged and elderly men. Illness can be mild, moderate or severe, and symptoms can develop gradually or occur overnight. Common symptoms of Peyronie's disease include:

1. Hard plaques appear on the penis that may be painless.

2. Penile curvature. A lump on the upper side of the penis will cause the penis to bend upward (this is the more common situation), while a lump on the underside of the penis will cause the penis to bend downward.

3. Some patients may have lumps on both the upper and lower sides of the penis, causing the penis to shorten and deform.
