Do you still cough during bronchopulmonary recovery?

Do you still cough during bronchopulmonary recovery?

Bronchopneumonia is a relatively common type of pneumonia, and its harmful effects are relatively large. Even in the recovery period, patients cannot relax and must emphasize nourishment. During the recovery period, the symptoms of fever will gradually subside, but coughing and sometimes sputum will still occur. Normally, you must emphasize nourishment and maintain good indoor ventilation. We should strengthen our diet.

What are the symptoms during the recovery period of bronchopneumonia?

Bronchopneumonia is common in infants and young children and requires timely treatment, otherwise it can easily lead to serious complications. Pneumonia is easy to occur in infants and young children due to the physiological and anatomical characteristics of the respiratory system, such as narrow trachea and bronchial lumens, low mucus secretion, poor ciliary movement, poor development of lung elastic tissue, abundant blood vessels and easy congestion, vigorous interstitial development, small number of alveoli, low lung air volume, and easy obstruction by mucus.

During the recovery period of bronchopneumonia, the symptoms are as follows: the fever symptoms gradually subside, and the cough becomes a wet cough with phlegm in the throat during the recovery period. Early chest signs are often not obvious, or only the breath sounds become coarser or slightly reduced. As the lesion expands, there may be dullness on percussion, and small bubbling sounds can be heard in both lungs, especially when taking a deep breath at the bottom of both lungs. Coarse moist rales appear in the recovery period.

The ward should be kept well ventilated, the room temperature should be maintained at around 20°C, and the humidity should be around 60%. Provide adequate vitamins and protein, frequent drinking water and small, frequent meals. Keep the respiratory tract open, clear upper respiratory tract secretions in time, change body position frequently, and reduce pulmonary congestion to facilitate the absorption of inflammation and the discharge of sputum.

How to treat bronchopneumonia?

During the recovery period of bronchial pneumonia, the use of antibiotics should be minimized, and attention should be paid to the use of dietary therapy for conditioning. Below, the author introduces some dietary therapy methods that can be used for conditioning during the recovery period of bronchial pneumonia:

1. Pear porridge: Wash 3 duck pears, chop them, add appropriate amount of water and boil them for 30 minutes. Remove the pear residue, add appropriate amount of clean rice, cook it into porridge, and eat it while hot.

2. Longan and pigeon egg soup: Wash the longan meat, wolfberry and polygonatum and set aside; add appropriate amount of water to a casserole, put in the above three herbs, and boil for about 15 minutes; break the pigeon eggs and put them into the pot one by one, add rock sugar and cook until the pigeon eggs are cooked.

3. Stemona ginger juice: 10 grams of Stemona, 6 grams of ginger, and a little honey. Add appropriate amount of water to Stemona bulbs and ginger, boil and extract the juice, add honey and give to children when it is warm. Children under 1 year old should not eat honey, but they can add a little sugar for flavoring.

4. Almond pear. Use 10 grams of almonds (peeled and crushed), 1-2 duck pears, and appropriate amount of rock sugar. First, cut the pear into pieces and remove the core, then cook it with almonds. When the pear is cooked, add rock sugar and drink it instead of tea.
