Small blisters on the hands in summer may be caused by vesicular tinea manuum
This is a very common clinical skin ringworm disease occurring on the feet and/or hands. Caused by infection with pathogenic filamentous fungi. The clinical manifestations of vesicular tinea manuum are: deep blisters ranging in size from a needle tip to a grain of rice occur on the palms and finger sides, with shiny and thick blister walls that can fuse into multi-chamber blisters, with varying degrees of inflammation and itching. It mostly occurs in summer. After the blisters dry up on their own, white dot-shaped and ring-shaped scales may form.
2. Small blisters on your hands in summer may also be caused by dyshidrotic eczema.
Dyshidrosis, also known as sweating disorder rash, is a type of skin eczema that occurs symmetrically on the sides of the hands or feet. It is a blistering skin disease that occurs on the palms and soles. The typical skin lesions of dyshidrotic eczema are small blisters located deep in the epidermis, the size of rice grains, hemispherical, slightly higher than the skin surface, with no inflammatory reaction, scattered or clustered on the palms, sides of fingers and fingertips, rarely on the back of hands and soles of feet, and often symmetrically distributed. The blisters contain clear serous fluid and generally do not rupture on their own. After drying, they peel off and reveal the red new epithelium, which is thin and tender and often painful. The surrounding skin was normal. This disease has varying degrees of itching and burning sensation.
Treatment
1. Diet adjustment
Blisters can be treated through diet. You can eat more foods that clear away heat and promote diuresis and are rich in crude fiber, such as mung bean sprouts and persimmons. In terms of overall diet, you also need to pay attention to a light diet and eat less irritating and hair-raising foods, such as chili peppers and garlic. Keep a diet diary and pay attention to whether your condition is related to metals. If so, you must avoid them.
2. Pay attention to the care of your hands and feet
When the seasons change, be sure to avoid contact with water and detergents, and wipe off the cream after washing your hands. Also, make sure your feet are ventilated and cool. If the situation is serious, you may need to use special medications to relieve the symptoms of itching and reduce the probability of infection.
3. Pay attention to your living habits
If blisters and peeling appear on your hands, you must avoid using hot water to wash them. You also need to develop good hygiene habits and use towels and bath towels less often to keep your hands and feet at appropriate moisture levels.
