There are many reasons for vaginal pain. For women, the most common ones are gynecological diseases, such as candidal infection, which is also a common type of vulvitis and often causes painful urination. In addition, it may also be related to normal eating habits. If a woman has high oxaluria, it will cause adverse stimulation and lead to such symptoms. What is vaginal pain? 1. Candida infection Candida infection may be one of the causes. In addition, women with a history of vulvar candidiasis may also experience pain if they use antifungal drugs inappropriately in their daily lives. 2. Iatrogenic factors Women with vulvar pain often have a history of using topical medications. Because the stratum corneum of the vulva is not as good as that of other parts of the skin, it is relatively susceptible to infection. Therefore, when there is drug stimulation, it may lead to contact dermatitis. 3. Psychological factors Women with vulvar pain have more obvious psychological abnormalities. And the sexual psychology is also somewhat pathological. If dissatisfaction occurs during sexual intercourse, secretions will decrease, the vagina will become relatively dry, and pain will easily occur during sexual intercourse. 4. Genetic factors Studies have shown that this disease is more common in white people, but there is no clear conclusion on the true genetic tendency. 5. Dietary factors Some scholars have pointed out that this kind of vulvar pain in women is related to hyperoxaluria. However, some studies have found that after three months of dietary treatment, only 10% of women recovered. Therefore, diet is considered to be one of the causes of the disease. Clinical manifestations of vulvar pain 1. Vulvar vestibulitis When women experience vulvar pain after being compressed, erythema and tenderness may also appear in the vulvar vestibule. 2. Annular vulvitis This type of vulvitis often occurs in women during menstruation and after sexual intercourse. Women feel a tingling sensation, and erythema and mild desquamation may appear on the vulva. 3. Vulvar pain with paresthesia This abnormal vulvar pain usually occurs in menopausal women. It can occur continuously and there will be pain even without stimulation. Sometimes it will affect the perianal area, perineum and inner thigh area of women. Occasionally, erythema may be seen on the vulva, but there is no obvious tenderness. |
