(4) Sudden interruption of urination accompanied by pain or urinary retention: seen in bladder, urethral stones or urinary tract foreign bodies.

(5) Difficult urination accompanied by distension and pain: This often indicates prostate hyperplasia in elderly men and can also be seen in urethral stones.

(6) Stinging or burning pain during urination: This is common in acute inflammatory stimulation, such as acute urethritis, cystitis, prostatitis, and pyelonephritis. Gonorrhea, non-gonococcal urethritis, and urinary tract infection all cause stinging pain when urinating. If not treated in time, it is easy to cause prostatitis in men and pyelonephritis in women. Gonorrhea and non-gonococcal urethritis are highly contagious and harmful. You should go to the hospital in time to further identify the pathogen.
