How to tell if your child has worms in his stomach

Many children will have stomachaches because they do not pay attention to hygiene when they are young, put everything in their mouths, and eat too much junk food. This is very common. So is there a worm in the stomach? How can you tell if there is a worm in the child's stomach? If you don't know, you should go to the hospital to check the stool to determine whether there are worms, and then decide whether to take medicine.

The child often complains of stomachache, especially around the navel, and likes to have the area massaged; when it does not hurt, he still plays as usual; the child is easily awakened, grinds his teeth, and drools when sleeping at night; there are white, nearly circular, or oval patches on the face and neck skin of the child, with small grayish-white scales on them, which are often called worm spots. The baby's skin often develops hives for no apparent reason.

Children have poor appetite. Some children develop picky eating and like to eat strange things. Because the worms compete with the baby for nutrients in the intestines, it can affect the baby's growth and development, leading to malnutrition and anemia. When the worms migrate, coughing, chest pain, asthma, difficulty breathing, and skin itching may occur; adult worms in the intestines can cause complications such as parasitic intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, and peritonitis.

You can go to a regular hospital to check your stool routine. At the same time, if a child has symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, anal itching, etc., it may be that there are worms in the stomach.

If you have stomach pain, it is recommended to check your stool to find out. However, there are many reasons for abdominal pain in children, such as: colds, enteritis, indigestion, parasitic infections, intestinal cramps, etc. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a thorough check-up. In particular, whether there is the possibility of enlarged and inflamed mesenteric lymph nodes and the possibility of gastritis. Pay attention to prevent colds and avoid eating raw, cold and spicy foods, use anti-inflammatory treatment in the acute phase and use antispasmodics appropriately. In addition, try Patchouli Granules.

Look at the child's feces. If there are worms, the worms will be excreted with the feces after the child takes the deworming medicine. You can see white spots in the feces, which are worms.
