What should I do if my neck is bitten by some insect?

Summer is the annoying season for mosquito bites. A large number of mosquitoes cause great trouble to people's lives. Mosquito bites not only bring pain to people, but also carry some vicious viruses, causing the spread of certain serious diseases. Some people panic after being bitten because they don’t know what kind of insect bit them. Let’s take a look at how to deal with insect bites on the neck that you don’t know what kind of insect bit them.

Considering the phenomenon caused by mosquito bites, there will be blisters on the skin, and in severe cases, itching, ulceration and pain. It is recommended to eat a light and soft diet, drink plenty of water, eat more vegetables and fruits, eat less spicy food, apply hot compresses for relief, and apply erythromycin ointment for treatment, which may improve the condition.

1. First of all, we need to understand what kind of insects bit us so that we can prescribe the right medicine. Because with the air pollution, some derivative insects have appeared in the air, and we don’t need to treat them specifically.

2. Sometimes we catch or don’t recognize this kind of insect. What should we do? Our neck feels itchy after being bitten, so we should take effective measures. First, wipe the bitten area with clean water. If there is toothpaste at home, gently apply some and spread it evenly (toothpaste is effective in relieving itching and swelling).

3. Use soap or transparent soapy water, apply it to the bite with your fingers, and massage gently (just wipe it with clean water before doing this, don’t apply anything).

4. Use wind oil to wipe the bitten area, expose the skin to the air, and wait for a few hours (wind oil has bactericidal and antipruritic functions, and also has a certain effect on bites).

5. Apply floral water. Everyone should know this. It is advertised on TV every year. It can relieve itching and repel mosquitoes. You can also drop a few drops in clean water when taking a bath. It can repel mosquitoes and other insects for an effective period of time.

6. The next option is to apply some medicine, such as anti-itching ointment, anti-itching powder or some anti-itching spray. You can use it as long as you have some at home.

7. If the itching has not been relieved after using the above methods for several hours and has worsened, then we need to go to a dermatologist for a professional medical examination and to prescribe the right medicine.
