What are some tips for treating allergic rhinitis and nasal congestion?

Allergic rhinitis is a type of rhinitis. There are many factors that cause this disease, such as weather changes, pollen and other floating objects. There are many tips for treating this disease in life, and patients can try them, such as brewing magnolia flowers and perilla with boiling water, which has a very good effect.

1. Take 3 grams of citrus tea or rosemary tea, brewed with boiling water and drunk, to improve nasal congestion and allergy symptoms.

2. Take 4 grams each of magnolia flower and perilla, brew with boiling water and drink it. It can shrink the nasal mucosa. Long-term drinking can prevent allergic rhinitis.

3. Cook 15 grams of Astragalus and 60 grams of glutinous rice into porridge and eat it 2 to 3 times a day. It can improve allergic constitution and treat allergic rhinitis.

4. After frying the raw Xanthium sibiricum and letting it cool, take 2 grams each of Xanthium sibiricum, mint and magnolia flower, brew them with boiling water and drink them. It can prevent and alleviate symptoms of nasal congestion, sneezing and runny nose.

5. Pour the boiled water into a container with a diameter of about 15 cm, place it under the nose while it is still hot, and inhale the steam vigorously for 15 to 20 minutes (be careful of burns). Take 3 times a day, and generally you will see results within two months.

6. Peel the garlic cloves and put them into a jar. Add vinegar, soak them and seal them. Open the bottle after one month, eat 3 to 4 cloves of garlic every night, pour vinegar into a small-mouthed bottle, and fumigate your nostrils for half an hour. It has obvious effect in treating allergic rhinitis.

7. The patient sits or stands, tilts his head back, squeezes 4 to 5 ml of saline solution into the nasal cavity using a small eye drop bottle, opens his mouth to breathe, holds for about 10 seconds, lowers his head to let the saline flow out naturally, and then blows out the remaining saline in the nose. Flushing the nasal cavity 6 to 8 times a day can help reduce allergic reactions such as nasal mucosal congestion and edema.

8. Rub your hands together to warm them up, cover your nose for 1 to 2 minutes, and use the index fingers of both hands to massage Yingxiang (the midpoint of the outer edge of the nose wing, in the middle of the nasolabial groove), Tong (both sides of the nose wing, the end of the upper end of the nasolabial groove), and Yintang (the midpoint of the line connecting the two eyebrows) for 1 to 2 minutes each. Take it once in the morning and once in the evening every day. When allergic rhinitis occurs, increase 1 to 2 times a day. Adhere to it for one month to significantly improve the symptoms.
