1. General treatment

① Remove vocal cord nodules or vocal cord polyps through indirect laryngoscope under local anesthesia;

② Use plasma under fiberoptic laryngoscope to remove vocal cord nodules or vocal cord polyps. Early vocal cord cancer and some vocal cord polyps are difficult to identify with the naked eye. Therefore, the removed vocal cord polyps should be subjected to corresponding pathological examination. For patients who cannot cooperate with treatment under local anesthesia, surgical treatment should be performed using general anesthesia. Traditional Chinese medicine classifies vocal cord polyps as "chronic laryngeal aphonia", also known as long-term aphonia. It is usually caused by qi stagnation, phlegm coagulation and blood stasis. Symptoms include prolonged hoarseness, difficulty speaking, chest tightness, dark tongue, and sluggish pulse.
