Why do people get angry?

When we have ulcers in our mouth, on our tongue, inside our nose, or at the corners of our mouth, or when we often feel swollen and painful gums, it may be that our body is getting inflamed. Getting angry falls into the category of traditional Chinese medicine, and is mainly caused by the excess of yang over yin. If you want to completely get rid of the pain caused by getting angry, you must first find the cause of the anger. So, why do people get angry?

Heart Fire:

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the heart is the monarch and master of the human body, and heart fire is the main internal source of heat that warms the whole body. If the heart fire is too strong, symptoms such as irritability, palpitations, insomnia, mouth ulcers, and red and yellow urine will appear. Drugs such as Coptis chinensis and lotus seed core are commonly used to clear the heart and reduce fire.

Liver Fire:

The ancients said: "Violent anger hurts the liver, and the five emotions turn into fire." Some people are narrow-minded, depressed, and easily angered by things, which leads to liver depression and qi stagnation and rising liver fire. It usually manifests as headache, dizziness, flushed face and ears, bitter mouth and dry throat, chest tightness and flank pain. Traditional Chinese medicine often uses gentian, selfheal and other medicines for treatment, which can achieve good results.

Stomach Fire:

Due to improper diet, addiction to alcohol, and excessive consumption of fatty, sweet, spicy and greasy foods, "food accumulation" is formed, which generates heat and turns into fire, resulting in raging stomach fire. Symptoms include burning pain in the stomach, dry mouth and bad breath, abdominal pain and constipation, swollen and painful gums, etc. Hawthorn, gypsum, iron tree leaves and other drugs are often used to purge the stomach and clear heat

Lung Fire:

The causes of lung fire may be sudden changes in climate, the body's inability to adapt, or excessive fatigue, which consumes excessive amounts of yin fluid in the body, thereby causing lung fire excitement. This is more common in the elderly. The main symptoms are heavy breathing, high fever, thirst, coughing up thick sputum, and even blood in the sputum.
