Effects and functions of bitter gall wine

Ground bitter gall is also known as snow gall, because it is a herbaceous plant that grows on the ground. It has a unique bitter taste but has a very good medicinal effect on the human body, so it is called ground bitter gall, which is very helpful in treating stomach diseases. Generally, people will soak bitter gall and old rock sugar in wine, which is good for health. What is the effect of soaking bitter gall in wine?

1. Antibacterial effect

In vitro antibacterial experiments were conducted using the herbicide injection to induce reactions against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. When experimenting, choose the tablet method. In addition to the above two kinds of edible fungi, it can also have an antibacterial effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhi, and Shigella dysenteriae.

2. Anti-tumor

In animal experiments, it was significantly observed that dichlorobenzene can have an inhibitory effect on sepsis. In rats, the growth of Wacker's sarcoma-256 was inhibited. In human experiments, it can have an inhibitory effect on the concentration of nasopharyngeal carcinoma-KB cells. In addition, deoxycholic acid also has a significant inhibitory effect on rat Wacker tumor-256.

3. Antitussive and phlegm-reducing effects

Under normal circumstances, various extracts such as acid-base alcohol extracts, flavonoids, total acid phenols, crystalline I (steroids) and saponins can have the effect of relieving cough and reducing phlegm after being taken by experimental mice and entering the stomach of the mice. Because flavonoids such extracts can eliminate cough problems by using sodium hydroxide spray to induce cough. Among them, flavonoids have the best effect.

4. Expectorant Effect

The various extracts contained in the bitter gall, such as acid and alkaline ethanol extracts, flavonoid glycosides, total acid phenols, total bioalkalis and crystals, can not only relieve cough and reduce phlegm due to the flavonoids therein, but also have a certain effect of removing wet phlegm through the method of phenol red after being taken orally. But as far as saponins are concerned, the actual effect is not significant.

5. Antiasthmatic effect

After the acid-base alcohol extract, flavonoid glycosides and total biotin in bitter gall were injected, a certain effect of relieving asthma was observed. Among them, the effects of relieving cough and reducing phlegm are similar, and the effect of flavonoids is more significant. In fact, total acid phenol, crystalline I and saponin do not have antiasthmatic effects. This type of experiment used the bronchial perfusion method to prove that one of the extracts of Prunella Vulgaris can help the body alleviate the smooth muscle function of bronchitis.
