Everyone knows that women experience great pain during childbirth. For the sake of their children's health, many mothers choose to give birth naturally. However, natural childbirth can easily cause cervical laceration in pregnant women. Cervical lacerations need to be treated promptly. If they are not sutured as soon as possible, infection will easily occur and the wound will be more difficult to recover. So, how should cervical laceration be treated? For the sake of their baby's health, many mothers will choose natural birth rather than cesarean section if there are no unexpected circumstances. However, natural childbirth can also cause many problems. Some mothers suffer cervical tearing due to natural childbirth. During childbirth, if the cervix is torn and the wound is large, if it is not sutured and repaired in time, part of the cervical mucosa will turn outward, which is called cervical ectropion. People with cervical ectropion are prone to infection and cervicitis. Therefore, during delivery, if a large cervical laceration occurs, repair surgery should be performed immediately. For old cervical lacerations and mucosal eversion, cervical repair, cervical resection or total hysterectomy can be performed. Cervical erosion is a manifestation of chronic cervicitis, and cervical erosion is not the erosion we usually understand. When the epidermis of the external os of the cervix falls off and is replaced by another epithelial tissue at the os of the cervix, the new epithelium covering the surface is very thin, and even the blood vessels and red tissue underneath can be seen. It looks like real erosion, so it is called cervical erosion. But in fact, it is not real erosion. Cervical erosion can be treated with medication or physical methods. The medication can be applied topically with Albotherapy (preferably by a doctor) or administered as a vaginal suppository. Medication treatment is mainly suitable for non-pregnant patients with mild to moderate cervical erosion, but medication treatment generally takes a long time and costs more. Physical therapy can include laser, freezing, microwave and other treatments, with laser treatment being the main option. Generally, the condition will improve after one or two treatments. The above is an introduction and care methods for mothers on what happens when cervical tear occurs during normal delivery. Some mothers may experience cervical tears if they exert too much force during childbirth, but this is not a serious problem. Just remember to wash it frequently, keep it dry and clean, and you'll be fine. |
