Serum TSGF is a new, broad-spectrum tumor marker with high sensitivity and specificity. The detection method is simple and rapid, and the results are stable. It has important clinical significance and application value in the initial screening, early auxiliary diagnosis, efficacy evaluation and prediction of tumor recurrence of malignant tumors.

Reasons for screening indicators

It is now clear that the growth and metastasis of tumors require blood vessel proliferation to provide nutrition. In order to make blood vessels proliferate, tumor tissue secretes a substance that promotes blood vessel growth and releases it into the peripheral blood - malignant tumor-specific growth factor, which promotes blood vessel proliferation. Literature reports that the sensitivity of serum TSGF detection in diagnosing untreated esophageal cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, and gastric cancer is over 80%. There was no significant difference between the various malignant tumors themselves (P>0.05), indicating that TSGF detection has good specificity and "broad spectrum", but each malignant tumor group was significantly different from the non-malignant tumor group and the normal control group.
