Anti-inflammatory treatment of lipoma during pregnancy

Anti-inflammatory treatment of lipoma during pregnancy

Pregnant mothers should pay special attention to their health during pregnancy, because if they get sick and take medicine during pregnancy, it is known that it will affect the baby's growth and development. Therefore, it is best not to take medicine during pregnancy. If a lipoma occurs during pregnancy, the growth of the lipoma will generally be slow. If there is no redness or swelling, the clinical fever can be controlled and try not to develop further. Just take anti-inflammatory measures. If it is really serious, surgical treatment is recommended and attention should be paid to anti-inflammatory measures.

1. Anti-inflammatory treatment should be given, and antibiotics should be used as appropriate. For example, cephalosporins and penicillins can be used, which are safe for pregnant women. There are generally no special dietary restrictions. Ordinary pregnant women can just eat normally and don't need to worry too much. You should listen to the doctor's advice on whether it is a lipoma and how to treat it.

2. Taking medications in early pregnancy will have a certain impact on the fetus. The specific situation varies from person to person, and the specific extent of the impact cannot be predicted at present. However, in general, if the medication is taken for a short time and in small amounts, the impact will not be significant. It is necessary to strictly carry out pregnancy examinations, do Down syndrome screening at 14-19 weeks of pregnancy, do four-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound to exclude abnormalities before delivery at 22-26 weeks of pregnancy, and if necessary, do amniocentesis and umbilical cord blood analysis at 16-20 weeks of pregnancy, so as to clarify the baby's development in the womb.

3. Generally, if the lipoma grows slowly and there are no clinical symptoms such as fever, redness, swelling, and white secretions, it does not need to be treated temporarily. During pregnancy, if the lipoma grows rapidly in a short period of time and is accompanied by inflammation, anti-inflammatory treatment is required before surgical removal of the lipoma. However, if there is no obvious inflammation and the lipoma is mature, it can also be directly removed surgically.

4. We must pay attention to the issue of what medicine to take for subcutaneous lipoma. At present, there is no good method or medicine for the treatment of lipoma. Since most lipomas do not directly cause other symptoms and complications, diagnosis is relatively easy and surgical removal is generally required.

5. It may be a lipoma and infection. In this case, you can take cephalosporin anti-inflammatory drugs and metronidazole orally. Do not eat spicy or stimulating food, do not rub it, and wait for the inflammation to subside before undergoing surgery to remove it.

6. If you have symptoms of lipoma infection, inflammation and pain, pay attention to local hygiene, drink more hot water, and avoid spicy and irritating foods. You can use iodine and alcohol for external disinfection, and take levofloxacin and cefadroxil for oral anti-inflammatory treatment, which has a very good effect. If necessary, surgical treatment can be adopted.

7. There are many treatments for lipoma, the most common ones are surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Different treatment methods are selected according to different conditions. For early-stage patients, surgical treatment plus Chinese medicine conditioning is recommended; for middle- and late-stage patients, radiotherapy and chemotherapy plus Chinese medicine conditioning, or only Chinese medicine treatment is more suitable.
