Is low-grade cin lesion serious?

Low-grade CIN lesions refer to a type of cervicitis, which is an atypical hyperplasia of the cervical epithelium. At low levels, the condition is not serious, but should not be ignored. You need to pay attention to the personal hygiene of your genitals. You need to wash them every day to ensure that they are clean to prevent bacteria from breeding and worsening the condition. There is no need to worry too much about low-grade CIN lesions. As long as they do not continue to worsen, the situation is within controllable range.

When it comes to cervicitis, many people have heard of it, but when it comes to chronic cervicitis with low-grade CIN lesions, not many people know about it. So, what does chronic cervicitis low-grade CIN lesion refer to? What are the symptoms of cervicitis?

Cervicitis is one of the common gynecological diseases, including inflammation of the cervical vagina and inflammation of the cervical canal mucosa. Because the squamous epithelium of the vaginal part of the cervical canal is continuous with the squamous phase of the vagina, vaginal inflammation can cause inflammation of the vaginal part of the cervix.

Low-grade CIN lesions in chronic cervicitis refer to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. It is a precancerous lesion of cervical cancer. It is usually caused by persistent infection with human papillomavirus. If this precancerous lesion is induced by a single virus, it will often regress naturally and rarely develop into invasive cancer. If it is accompanied by chronic cervicitis, viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc. and is induced by multiple factors, it has the potential to become cancerous and may develop into invasive cancer.

Now everyone knows what low-grade CIN lesions in chronic cervicitis refer to. Next, the author will introduce to you the symptoms of chronic cervicitis.

Chronic cervicitis is mostly asymptomatic. A small number of patients may have increased vaginal discharge, which is light yellow or purulent, bleeding after sexual intercourse, bleeding between menstruation, and occasional irritation from the discharge causing vulvar itching and discomfort. Gynecological examination may reveal erosive changes in the cervix, or yellow secretions covering or flowing out of the cervical opening. It may also manifest as cervical polyps or cervical hypertrophy.

Chronic cervicitis can be initially diagnosed based on clinical manifestations, but care should be taken to differentiate the positive signs found during gynecological examination from common pathophysiological changes of the cervix (cervical CIN cancer or early cervical cancer).

After understanding the symptoms of chronic cervicitis, I hope that female friends will pay more attention to their bodies in life so that they can detect and treat it earlier.
