(II) Toxicology experiment 1. LD50 The LD50 of the decoction of cooked aconite root administered orally to mice is 17.42 g/kg. The LD50 of abdominal injection is 26.30g/kg2. Toxic and side effects: The main toxic ingredient is aconitine. The origin, production and processing of traditional Chinese medicine, and decoction time will affect the composition and toxicity level of aconitine. When boiled in water at 120 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes, the toxicity of aconite is only 1/5 to 1/350 of that of raw aconite, and the LD50 for oral administration is above 100g/kg.

Indoor temperature and combination can also affect the toxicity of aconite. Severe cold can reduce the toxicity of aconite.
