Oral inflammation is very easy to occur in daily life, especially for some narrow-minded friends. Frequent inflammation will definitely lead to problems of one kind or another in the body, and symptoms such as pain are even more common. Even when the mouth is inflamed, it may be accompanied by oral ulcers, making eating very difficult. However, there are ways to solve this situation, so what should we do if our tongue and mouth are inflamed? Treatment Oral ulcers belong to the category of "mouth sores" and "oral erosions" in traditional Chinese medicine. Although oral ulcers occur in the mouth, they are closely related to the internal organs. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the spleen opens up to the mouth, the heart opens up to the tongue, the kidney meridian connects to the throat and the base of the tongue, the cheeks and gums belong to the stomach and large intestine, and the Ren meridian and Du meridian both connect to the oral cavity, lips and tongue, indicating that the occurrence of oral ulcers is closely related to the five internal organs. "Suwen Zhizhen Yaoda Lun" said: "All pains, itches and sores belong to the heart." The fire caused by mouth sores is not only due to the heart. Being worried and angry in daily life, being addicted to smoking, drinking and coffee, and overeating of fatty and greasy foods can all lead to heat accumulation in the heart and spleen, heat stagnation in the lungs and stomach, and heat accumulation in the liver and gallbladder, which can cause mouth ulcers and are mostly positive symptoms. Insufficient kidney yin and virtual fire can cause mouth ulcers and are mostly negative symptoms. Being old and weak, overworked and suffering internal injuries can damage the spleen and stomach, which can lead to malfunction of the middle burner hub, blocked upper and lower qi movement, inability of the upper burner yang to descend, inability of the lower burner yin to ascend, and excessive heart fire to ascend along the meridians, which can also cause mouth ulcers and are mostly negative symptoms. As Li Dongyuan said in "Discussion on Spleen and Stomach": "The spleen and stomach are weak and the vital energy is insufficient, while the heart fire is strong. The heart fire is Yin fire, which originates from the lower burner and is connected to the heart. The heart is not in charge, and the ministerial fire takes over." "Stomach disease will cause shortness of breath, lack of energy and high fever. Sometimes the stomach fire will ascend and burn the face alone." Diet therapy With the change of people's living habits, the number of patients with oral ulcers in my country is increasing. It stays high. So what should you do if you have oral ulcers? Here I will introduce to you the dietary treatment methods for oral ulcers. 1. The first dietary therapy for mouth ulcers I would like to recommend is raw rehmannia and green plum. The recipe: 15 grams of raw rehmannia, 10 grams of dendrobium, 2 grams of licorice, and 30 grams of green plum. Preparation method: Add appropriate amount of water to raw rehmannia, dendrobium, licorice and green plum, cook for 20 minutes, remove the residue and take the juice. Efficacy: Nourishes yin, clears heat, reduces fire and heals sores. Usage: Take 1 dose daily, divided into 2 to 3 times for oral administration. Can be used continuously for several days. 2. Raw earth and lotus seed soup is also a good dietary therapy for mouth ulcers. Recipe: 9 grams of raw earth, 6 grams of lotus seed core, and 6 grams of licorice. Preparation method: Add water to the three ingredients, boil them together, remove the residue and take the juice. Efficacy: Nourishes yin and clears heat. Usage: Take 1 dose daily for several days. 3. Lotus seed and licorice tea is also a good dietary therapy for mouth ulcers. Recipe: 15 grams of lotus seeds, 2 grams of licorice, and 5 grams of green tea leaves. Preparation method: Put all the above ingredients into a teacup and pour in boiling water to soak. Efficacy: Clears the heart and relieves heat. Usage: Drink frequently instead of tea. 4. Another dietary therapy for mouth ulcers is bamboo leaf, tongcao and mung bean porridge. The recipe: 10 grams of light bamboo leaves, 5 grams of tongcao, 1.5 grams of licorice, 30 grams of mung beans, and 150 grams of polished rice. Preparation method: Chop the light bamboo leaves, tongcao and licorice into pieces, put them into a gauze bag, add water together with mung beans and glutinous rice, leave for 30 minutes, and cook them over low heat to make porridge. Efficacy: Clears away heat and purges fire, detoxifies and heals sores. Usage: Take in the morning and evening. 5. Use 25 grams of honey, 1 gram of green tea, and 10 grams of gallnut. Add the gallnut to 400 ml of water and boil for 10 minutes. Add the green tea and wait until it is warm, then add the honey. After 5 minutes, drink it slowly in two times for 3 consecutive days. |
