After the scene occurs, many people will suffer from diarrhea, and the diarrhea is very serious. Usually, gastroenteritis is treated with some antibacterial drugs. So what are the drugs for treating gastroenteritis? Gastroenteritis is an inflammation of the stomach and intestinal mucosa caused by food poisoning. Symptoms include severe vomiting and diarrhoea, often with abdominal cramps and pain, fever, and sweating. It is divided into two categories: acute gastroenteritis and chronic gastroenteritis. Because each patient's condition is different, the best medicine for each patient is different, and the appropriate medicine should be selected according to the condition. 1. Acute gastroenteritis (1) Oral glucose When gastroenteritis occurs, it is easy to cause dehydration in the human body, and oral glucose-electrolyte solution is taken to replenish the loss of body fluids. (2) Injection of antiemetic, antidiarrheal, and antispasmodic drugs If the patient has severe vomiting and diarrhea, he needs to be injected with antiemetics, such as intramuscular injection of chlorpromazine 25-100 mg per day; antispasmodics, such as belladonna tablets, 1 tablet orally once, 3 times a day; antidiarrheal drugs, such as smectite, 1 bag each time, 2-3 times a day. (3) Antimicrobial treatment For infectious diarrhea, targeted antibiotics can be appropriately selected, such as berberine 0.3g orally at a time, 3 times a day or gentamicin 80,000U orally, 3 times a day. 2. Chronic gastroenteritis (1) Antispasmodics and analgesics Atropine 0.5-1 mg or scopolamine 5-10 mg, intramuscular injection. (2) Anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs For bacterial infection, in addition to using effective antibiotics for bacterial culture, berberine can be used. 3g, 3 times a day; 3 tablets of Yuanhu analgesic tablets, 3 times a day; 4 tablets of Weichangling, 3 times a day. If the patient develops fever, dehydration, or shock, antibiotics can be used appropriately, and intravenous transfusion or oxygen can be given if necessary. (3) Antidiarrheals Bismuth subcarbonate 1-2g, 3 times a day; compound camphor tincture 4mg, 3 times a day. (4) Psychogenic diarrhea You can take 10 mg of chlordiazepoxide, 3 times a day; or 1 tablet of paracetamol, 2 times a day. The above is an introduction to drugs for treating gastroenteritis. During the medication process, patients should also pay attention to their eating habits, chew their meals slowly, eat less irritating foods, and avoid drinking alcohol and smoking.
