The role and efficacy of Baiye leaves

The role and efficacy of Baiye leaves

Cypress leaves, which are the leaves on the cypress tree, are a type of plant that looks inconspicuous but has certain efficacy and functions. Cypress leaves are also widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. For example, cypress leaves can be used to treat various diseases such as hair loss, whooping cough, tuberculosis, bronchitis and dysentery. Below, I will introduce to you in detail the effects and functions of cypress leaves!

1. Treatment of hair loss

Cypress leaves contain a special ingredient that is effective in treating hair loss. We only need to soak fresh cypress leaves in 60% alcohol, wait for seven days, and then wipe the areas with hair loss with the filtered liquid.

2. Treatment of whooping cough

Cypress leaves can treat whooping cough. The method is to take fresh cypress leaves, add water and boil them, and also add an appropriate amount of honey. The amount of honey depends on the amount of boiled cypress leaves.

3. Treatment of tuberculosis

Cypress leaves can also treat tuberculosis. However, the treatment method is injection, which extracts medicinal substances from cypress leaves and then mixes them with glucose solution for injection treatment. Generally speaking, it is more suitable for use in the initial stage of pulmonary tuberculosis. Its therapeutic effect on fresh pulmonary tuberculosis is much better than that on long-term pulmonary tuberculosis.

4. Treatment of bronchitis and self-interest

Cypress leaves can also treat chronic bronchitis and acute and chronic bacterial dysentery.

Dry or roast the Platycladus orientalis leaves and grind them into coarse powder. Add 18% alcohol until the medicinal powder is fully absorbed. Soak for 4 days and nights and filter out the extract. Take 50 ml each time (reduce the dosage for children), 3 times a day, 7 to 10 days as a course of treatment. A total of 114 cases were treated, 100 of which were cured, with a cure rate of 87.7%. Experiments have shown that the infusion has good antibacterial or bactericidal effects. If it is boiled, sterilized under high pressure, or preservatives are added, the efficacy will be affected. Treats continuous vomiting of blood. 15 grams each of cypress leaves and dried ginger, and three handfuls of mugwort. Take the above three ingredients, add five liters of water and one liter of Ma Tong juice, boil them together, take out one liter, divide into portions and drink while warm.
