TCM Treatment of Fatty Liver

TCM Treatment of Fatty Liver

The causes of fatty liver are very complex. The main feature is diffuse hepatocyte bullae. Clinically, it is divided into alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The incidence of non-alcoholic fatty liver is relatively low now. However, with the improvement of people's living standards, more and more people are becoming obese, and most people's exercise volume is gradually reduced, so fatty liver disease eventually occurs. So what are the traditional Chinese medicine methods for regulating fatty liver?

First, what are the TCM tonic methods for fatty liver? TCM believes that the occurrence of this disease is mainly related to an individual's physical constitution, but its main cause is improper diet, overeating rich and greasy food or drinking a lot of alcohol, which causes endogenous dampness and heat, or dampness gathers into phlegm, resulting in a series of symptoms. Most patients with fatty liver have no symptoms, or only have mild fatigue, lack of appetite, abdominal bloating, etc. Some patients may experience loss of appetite, nausea, fatigue, pain and discomfort in the liver area. Most patients are obese and may have hepatosplenomegaly. At present, when treating fatty liver, we must first distinguish between cold and heat, and the primary and secondary. On the basis of syndrome differentiation and treatment, appropriate use of lipid-lowering Chinese medicine is used, that is, combining syndrome differentiation with disease differentiation, and combining the macro and micro perspectives.

Second, treatment of fatty liver with traditional Chinese medicine. Choose the medicine under the guidance of a doctor, read the drug instructions carefully, and select the medicine comprehensively. Comprehensive drug selection means analyzing the patient's symptoms comprehensively to select drugs for treatment. Under normal circumstances, more than two drugs are selected for treatment, and the medications are adjusted and changed at any time as the disease progresses.
