Is it normal to feel sleepy one month into pregnancy?

If a woman is just one month pregnant, she must pay attention to her physical condition, because the fertilized egg is in an implantation state at this time, and miscarriage is likely to occur if it is not accidentally affected by fluctuations. And as the fertilized egg implants, many women will experience physical symptoms that they did not experience before pregnancy. Some pregnant women are very sleepy when they are one month pregnant. Is this normal?

Will you feel sleepy during early pregnancy?

It is normal to feel weak, tired and exhausted in early pregnancy because the fetus is growing and the mother needs to slow down her body. The symptoms of drowsiness in early pregnancy are generally more severe, mainly due to changes in hormone secretion in the body. If you cannot rest at noon, try to get enough rest and sleep at night. Rest here does not mean sleep, as long as you lie down to ensure that there is enough blood supplied to the fetus to increase oxygen supply. After the first trimester, most expectant mothers will have much better energy. Of course, you will still feel tired in the late pregnancy, but you will not be as exhausted as in the early pregnancy.

There are three main reasons why expectant mothers have great mood swings in the early stages of pregnancy:

One is excessive worry. I am always worried about whether my body can handle the task of carrying a fetus and whether the fetus is normal. I feel conflicted while feeling happy and worried.

The second is the early pregnancy reaction. Severe morning sickness and other reactions can affect the mood of expectant mothers.

The third is psychological tension. In addition to the joy of a successful pregnancy, expectant mothers also feel confused and helpless about their future life because concerns about issues such as caring for the baby will lead to a certain degree of psychological anxiety, irritability and uneasiness.

From now on, expectant mothers should try to be open-minded about everything and not be too fussy or concerned. Because you are two people now, if you are unhappy, the baby will be unhappy too. Your unhappiness will affect the healthy development of your baby. I would also like to give special advice to expectant fathers here. For the sake of your baby, you should be more considerate and caring to your beloved wife, and use her as a temporary punching bag for a period of time to keep the mental state of mother and baby in the best condition.
