TCM treatment of cerebral hemorrhage

Cerebral hemorrhage is a relatively serious disease. Most of the patients are elderly people. TCM treatment of cerebral hemorrhage

1. Shenfu Huiyang Decoction:

[Ingredients] 10 g ginseng. 9 g of cooked aconite root, 30 g each of dragon bone and oyster, and 50 g of black beans.

[Preparation method] Decoction ginseng to extract juice; decoct the remaining 3 herbs separately to extract juice, add black beans and decoct again until the black beans are very soft, filter out the supernatant. 2. Mix the juices evenly.

[Effects] Restore Yang and restrain Yin. Strengthen the body and consolidate the body. It is used for coma in the acute phase of cerebral hemorrhage, with symptoms of loss of vital energy and confusion of mind.

[Dosage] Administer through nasogastric tube at appropriate temperature for 2 meals in the morning and evening or more, 1 dose/day, and discontinue use until the condition improves.

2. Earth Dragon Peach Blossom Cake:

[Materials] 100 g Astragalus, 30 g dried earthworm (soaked in wine), 20 g each of safflower and red peony root, 50 g Angelica, 10 g Chuanxiong, 15 g peach kernel (peeled and lightly fried), 400 g cornmeal, 100 g wheat flour, and appropriate amount of white sugar.

[Preparation method] Roast and grind the earthworm to powder; except for peach kernels, boil the remaining medicine to extract the juice; mix the earthworm powder, corn flour, wheat flour and sugar, and mix them with the juice to form dough, divide it into 20 small cakes, spread peach kernels evenly on the cakes, and bake them in a cage or oven.

[Effects] Replenishing Qi and activating blood circulation, unblocking meridians and curing impotence. It is used for patients in the recovery and sequelae stages of cerebral hemorrhage who suffer from qi deficiency and blood stasis.

[Dosage] Take 1 to 2 cakes each time, twice a day.

3. Zhengan Xifeng Decoction:

[Ingredients] Achyranthes bidentata 25 g, magnetite 30 g, dragon bone 30 g. 30 g Uncaria rhynchophylla, 10 g Chrysanthemum, 1 egg white, and appropriate amount of white honey.

[Preparation method] Fry the first 5 herbs together, remove the residue and take the juice, add egg white while it is still hot, and then add appropriate amount of white honey.

[Effects] Nourishes Yin, suppresses Yang, and extinguishes wind. It is used for patients in the recovery period of cerebral hemorrhage with symptoms of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity.

[Dosage] Take on an empty stomach, 1 dose each morning and evening.

4. Phlegm-clearing porridge:

[Ingredients] 12 g of Pinellia, 15 g of Arisaema, 15 g of Citrus aurantium, 10 g of Bombyx batryticatus, 6 g of Sinapis alba, 12 g of Angelica sinensis root, 100 g of Japonica rice, and appropriate amount of crystal sugar.

[Preparation] Decoction all the herbs together, take 300 mL of juice, add a little water and put it into the well-washed polished rice and cook into porridge, then add crystal sugar.

[Effects] Clears away heat, resolves phlegm and dredges the meridians. It is used for patients in the recovery period of cerebral hemorrhage with symptoms of phlegm-heat obstruction.

[Dosage] 1 dose/d, divided into morning and evening meals. 1 week is a course of treatment.
